Life happens. An emergency comes up and you can’t make an appointment, and you aren’t even able to call the guy to cancel. What do you do to make up for your NCNS? Does your answer change if this happened to one of your regulars? Has it ever happened because you overbooked?

I am aware that we guys (not me personally) are sometimes responsible for NCNS, but I consider that a different topic with different solutions, like requesting a cancellation fee or blacklisting him

I dont buy it. How long does it take to send a quick text? 15 seconds? IMO it's just flakiness and not caring about someone elses time. Plain and simple. I'm sure anyone can come up with a "plausible " excuse but I would be very hesitant to see a lady who ncns me.

Two hours later, she texted me to say that she lost her phone and finally found it. She left it on a store counter. Could be true, though most millennials seem unlikely to lose their phone without losing a hand in the process.

As I said they will find an excuse. Any offer to make good?

Good question. She offered to reschedule, but no other consideration has been offered to make this right. Our first two meetings were enjoyable, but I probably won't see her again without getting more than an apology and an excuse. One more good time and I was ready to call her my true ATF.

Lighten up Francis.
If my almost true ATF stood me up ONCE, I'd let it go. Good chance if you're cool about it and she likes you she will reward you with a great session.

Take her up on rescheduling and do it ASAP and go in expecting as good a time as your previous sessions.
If I'm right, great for you. If I'm wrong, you move on then.

Too many people get butt hurt over little things.

Points taken. Thank you.

I sent her an email earlier today, explaining the additional hassles created by her NCNS, and politely asked if there was anything that she could do to make up for it. When she sent me another brief text asking about re-scheduling, I said that I was interested, but needed her to read my email first.

She sent an indignant email response, informing me that she was already intending to give me a discount but now decided against the discount because my email was too long. I guess it was going to be a surprise discount, because she failed to mention it in her earlier requests to re-schedule. She made it extremely clear that there will not be any consideration for my inconvenience, and if I don't like it, I should see someone else.

If there is a next session, I doubt it will be great. But other circumstances are preventing me from re-scheduling for weeks anyway, or seeing anybody else. Maybe we will both be fine by then.

Bingo.

Had my first provider NCNS a few weeks ago and I'm still waiting for the cunt to reply to my very polite email asking her what happened.

like many other said before, it only takes 15 sec to text someone and say "im terribly sorry that something came up and it's an emergency, can we re-schedule"  (assuming its just once in a blue moon, not every other time of course).

It had happen to me (2 or 3 times) when my work suddenly called or my SO called and i have to cancel an appointment in the last sec.  But the provider was very understanding and we had fun at another time.

And I've never cancelled on a client, let alone a no Call, no show.
The circumstance would have to be severe, car accident, a passing of a close relative, nonetheless, the client did his part to be available, so I'd absolutely give him a free hour:-)

Thats refreshing and rare.

It's about as rare as a guy who no shows sending the Cancellation policy donation.

You won't get a second chance. You go on a private list and if you want an appt in the future, you are required to pay the full appointment fee in advance as a non-refundable deposit.

I have found that when there was a legitimate reason for the NCNS, the client has no problem putting the deposit down the next time as a show of goodwill because he really wants the appointment and he isn't playing games. This rarely happens as 90% of the time, the NCNS is a time waster who didn't have the money in the first place and is pissed off because he can't get a woman to talk to him in his regular life either.

You misinterpreted my post. The provider was NCNS as far as I'm concerned, because she didn't give me the exact address before she lost her phone. I drove to the general area that she told me about, and waited. And waited. She found her phone a couple of hours later, after I had already gone back home. Or maybe she really over-booked and bumped me back. Either way, it was her fault, and if she was reasonable, she would have offered to make it up to me. Instead, she gave me attitude and offered me a re-booking at full price, which reinforces the theory that she over-booked.

Oh my apologies. I did misunderstand what I read.

I don't have any opinion on this because it is outside the realm of my experience or the way I practice so this is completely alien to me.

I am sorry this happened to you though. There is absolutely nothing worse than having a good portion of your time wasted, especially when it is your limited free time.

Showed up for a one hour massage appt. Sent a text 10 minutes before I was there an told her let me know when you're ready. No rush. I get a call back, her apologizing she thought it was for the next day an would make it up to me. No problem. Suppose to be a simple body slide an HJ. She did a lil kissing an some BBBJ which I didn't expect. I thought she more than mAde up for it an will see her again.
