What makes a review suspicious to you?

I'm scanning through reviews I'm wondering what you guys think makes a review suspicious, either that the guy had a vendetta, or that the reviews were paid for by the provider, or that the review is just plain fake? If she has a review posted fr a city right before a tour does that tip you off? What about if all her reviews are recent? Or if she has multiple names? Or what?

And don't say to only see providers with 20 reviews, I'd like a wider net than that.

Lack of history and all 10/10s .  My preference is seeing ladies that have seen guys that we seem to agree with on tastes. Although that seems to be getting harder to find.

There...I said it  LOL

Seriously....most reviews are written for the ego of the reviewer.  I honestly can't read reviews any more...knowing I can't possibly live up to the hookers expectation of her getting no fewer than 31 orgasms.

There are some that you'll only see reviews for them and their girlfriends.  Always really high scores. Aka self reviews.  Ladies are and do get away with this all the time. Ladies also threaten guys if they don't get a 10/10. There is a fuckton of review manipulation going on. Reviews right before a tour? Yeah,  that may or may not be legit. Thank goodness I only have to keep up with my own reviews in which I have to make sparks shoot from my ass for a 10 lol no worries,  it feels good!  :)

"Treat her right"....then I know it's a fake.

It's VERY important for reliable mongers to share that secret to success in P4P.

It's also appreciated when a monger makes sure to let the readers know to take a shower and wash his ass.

I was just told that I lost my sparks.  Maybe you found them?

following a bad review. Even more suspicious is the three reviews sounding like they were written in five minutes, and by guys whose only reviews are the ones just written.

I had two people write a review after a fake bad one was posted for me, and one was from a review newbie. At any rate, I understand the suspicion of high scores; we all know some are the result of manipulation, but sometimes a bounce back review, whatever the score, is simply because another reviewer really disagrees with something in a prior review and wants to set the record straight.

The review process is very imperfect, and while most realize that, the real problem is that too much stock is placed in the rankings and numbers, and that contributes to the rampant review manipulation/revenge. Until hobbyists stop relying so much on rankings, expect problems to continue.

I just skimmed through your reviews and I don't see any "fake bad reviews" actually I don't see any bad reviews at all. The worst I see is a 7-9, and the next one gave an 8-10, only one point higher on both appearance and performance, hardly what I would call a "bounce back"

I completely agree about the stupid "rankings" and "top lists" I am doing my part, I don't even look at the top lists, much less give them any credence.

Those guys haven't had their dick suck long enough, so what the fuck do they know, if you breath and moan you'll get al least a 9/9....lol..Fuck I'm channeling my inner GaG....FUCK SOMEONE SHOOT ME!!!
And the other review that caused the bounce back review can't be assume that it was "Fake"...I know that's the prevailing assumption among the ladies but not all bad reviews are fake...Whew, back to my Hpygolky self...good thing we caught it in time.

I just let mine out a little bit more often than other people. Well ok, I let mine out a LOT more than other people. lol

True, some bad reviews are true, but some are clearly fake when they get lots of details wrong that even an acquaintance would recognize as false.

Also, while I agree no one puts much stock in a newbie reviewer, it doesn't mean they are always new. Probably most of the time yes, but some people just don't like writing reviews.

.... half way through I started to recognize the story that the reviewer was telling. I went back to a review from a year earlier and found that the new guy had cut and pasted half of that year old review. I had read it originally when I was researching the provider back then.
15 days of VIP for every review will get some reviewers to do anything.

In the details, or lack thereof.   A recent example is a review of a girl that I see regularly where the reviewer said he got up on her massage table when she only has a bed and has NEVER had a massage table. Most of the short generic reviews are fake, too. You know the ones:  a couple of lines that go like this:

"DFK, shower, Preview BBBJ, bedroom, more BBBJ, DATY, cover on, CG, RCG, doggy, mish, shower, DFK, exit."

These give nothing unique that proves the reviewer even saw her.

In my mind, those clowns that give out only 10/10s with an occasional 10/9.  Obviously, so hard up to get some that any lady who obliges is worthy of top scores.

Well, maybe not all, but a large majority are. The key IMHO is to look for reputable reviewers. Those that seem to have similar interests, have a track record, and who you can calibrate with based on seeing the same women.

I was looking at a local girl and did my research by checking her reviews. I noticed that after getting a bad review she immediately got a great one by someone without any review history. I checked further and it went on like that for a few months.

Needless to say I didn't see her.

the ratings probably only fall in a narrow range...  say within a point +/-.   Wider swings make me question.  Often reading the actual review details will give clues.
I've seen some where 'she wasn't my type', I saw her anyway, I didn't have a great time but she tried hard.  I can't hold them against her.  I look at her overall record & see if she offers what I want.
A well written review gives the reader a sense of what isn't said...

If a review or two are way out of line from the others, either the provider is getting all low numbers and then gets a 10/10 or thereabouts.  The opposite holds true for me too, where the provider is getting all high numbers and then up pops a 4/4.  Of course, this requires a fair amount of reviews, hard to get "consistency" with only 2 or 3 reviews.

If a reviewer and provider have few reviews I get suspicious. I then look to see if I would rate the provider highly based on appearance.

Also suspicious are reviews that are widely disparate - such as one 8 (suspicious) and many 6's.

I don't think that many highly-scored reviews in a quick succession is suspicious. Actually that usually means I better hurry and make an appointment!!
