I am in full agreement here. I am sure this well reviewed provider had more regulars, or more multi hour appointments during this short 2 day trip. I am not 100% convinced it's incompetence. I read one review which was really not good (one of the only bad ones) and the guy said she was not showing much effort and told him to hurry up because she had a regular coming. I wrote it off as a guy who had written many reviews and didn't offer high marks for many of the ladies he saw, but there is an air of truth in his words.

Again, when I see a very well reviewed provider come to my city for a short trip, I had already assumed it could be difficult to see her, which is why I sent my request 5 days prior and followed two days before the date I requested, asking if there would be a problem scheduling. Thats why I am frustrated. If you cant see me, or maybe you wont, just say something like Hi, Im sorry but so and so is booked out, or she is unable to fulfill the day and time requested, please try again during my next trip! Is that so hard to say? What an utter waste of my time.

Are there  some duds....sure. In fact I broke off an attempt to see a popular Provider because her assistant was a real ditz and I lost patients trying to work with her.

But Toni and Tiff....hell , I like communicating with them. They are stand up ladies and pretty damn cool. I'm sure there are many others.

I normally never seem to communicate with an assistant. Out of all the years I've been in the hobby, I am used to a typical two call system. Send request, get screened/okay'd then and E mail saying its a go. With in 24 hours of the confirmed date, I usually get a text. In this case, I PM'd the lady on my verification site asking if a specific time and day I would like to see her is available. I get a response from her, or someone with available times and dates she has available while she is in my city. So, I respond with in 24 hours with a formal request on one of the two days and select a time based upon what she had available. No response for 2 days.

I reach out by E mail on the 3rd day. I say hello, and ask if she will have the time to see me and that I understand she is only visiting for 2 days and if she cant, it was okay, just let me know so I can make other arrangements for the day and time that I am available. I get a response relatively quickly by an assistant saying she is available the day I requested and provided the times available. She wanted my handle for the verification site so she could do a search. I was a little confused but complied. My request is in the inbox on the verification site. I told her the date I sent it. No response for another two days. My requested date is tomorrow evening. I cant ever remember being this close to a requested date, where I sent a request 3-5 days in advance and not having a hard confirmation that the screening was completed and having a confirmation? Im doubting this date will even happen. It seems like in my past, the only time I have ever had problems miscommunicating, or getting stood up was when an assistant was involved.

Sometimes I wonder if it isn't lack of effort and possibly that the day and time selected is being held up to see if a another request comes in for a longer appointment? No matter. All I wanted was to have some fun tomorrow night and if this doesnt happen, the least said provider, or assistant could do was let me find someone else instead of stringing me along and forcing me to back out at the last minute to be sure I can get a date in tomorrow night. Feeling frustrated

I'm sure I'm jumping to conclusions about the scheding, but it is odd that a request sent says ago has not yet been confirmed that I've passed a screening. Usually the ladies get that ironed out with in a couple days and I am notified it's a go. I feel like there is hesitation or like I'm being ignored and that's frustrating since I said it was okay if it didn't work out. I just wanted to know a couple days ago if I needed to move on. I don't want to bail and will give them time to notify me tonight or tomorrow afternoon but this is ambiguous and it doesn't have to be?

Almost always, booking assistants have made my life easier. They can respond to requests while the provider is working, or otherwise unavailable.

But some assistants are less on the ball than others. As always, "it depends" and "YMMV" rules as it does in other situations involving interactions with people.

They can tell you the difference between "burro" and "burrow."  If they can't, then they don't know their ass from a hole in the ground and you might as well give up.  Just my opinion.

I have dealt with amazing assistants who are always on top of things and guide you thru each step in a timely manner. But I also ran into one who booked dates for her client, but never actually TOLD her client that she was making dates for her. She wound up making her client look very bad. She was awful.

Unless you've previously dealt with an assistant/booker you never know what you'll get in the competency department. It's a roll of the dice.

I had a situation like this once a few years ago. I got blown off... no call no show, and she claimed the assistant never told her. I was upset because it ruined my window and I had to wait for another opportunity to get away. She offered me some free time with her, but I didn't want to meet her anymore after the whole ordeal. Oh well. C'est la vie

So I sent one last E mail. I was cordial, but direct. I called her out on the fact that its been 5 days since I submitted my request and have not received a confirmation yet and that I followed up twice. Basically, do I need to find someone else, or are you going to confirm tomorrow evening and give me instructions?! The assistant responded as I had an E mail window open to another provider. Im glad it worked out. This lady does not live in my city and is my dream girl type. The kind of chick I would have hung up in my locker when I was a kid. Its all good. Polite and persistent and being direct worked in this case.
