I have been thrown out (ok politely informed it was against policy) of more than a few dressing rooms over the years, Sounds like you got a GREAT deal. lol

Cameras in a dressing room can be a lawsuit of huge proportions

There are cameras in those rooms, you know.

..ya know..i thought about that...so do they watch all the girls trying on panties??-this store had a flat ceiling w no place for a camera...not even an air vent...this friend loves public/hot/dangerous orgasms (no bathrooms tho)..i have a two week vacation coming up-we are going on the road shopping and eating

Pretty sure that courts have said that customers have an expectation of privacy in dressing rooms.  Hidden cameras could result in serious liability for store owners if it ever leaked out that they engaged in that practice.  Giving it to LE to use as evidence would out the store's practice, and be very dumb indeed.
If such video found its way on to the interwebs, it would also out the fact that the store had surveillance in the dressing rooms.

could you imagine ... nothrofboston's Forever69 ... lol

I'd have a private fitting room where I'd help the ladies in
and out of their selections and bang them for whatever
the want to take with them.

that if you wear a tinfoil hat, you are invisible to cameras...

... to maybe try a movie theater, a restaurant, or a public park. :P

A lingerie store In City Center in  Las Vegas had coed dressing rooms. Lots of fun to take a friend to the store and play in the dressing room. I think the store personnel was used to the dressing room activities, it never seem like an issue to the store personnel. Unfortunately I think the store has closed.

If someone contacts LE you could both end up as registered sex offenders.

Good advice.Paid sessions shouldn't get your asses locked up.

In at least one state that I researched, it takes three convictions of public lewdness before you qualify to register as a sex offender. That is convictions, not charges.

I researched that after two providers declined outdoor sex because they didn't want to end up as registered sex offenders and I love plein aire fucking.

Very risky! You could get charged for Public sex.

but any behind the closed doors are certainly illegal.  NO store would allow it.

Only 13 states make it illegal to have cameras in dressing rooms. In the other 37 states it is legal to some degree, but they must have "consent." In many cases, consent means having a sign up letting patrons know they may be videotaped.

Read it again. In 37 states no consent is required. In Georgia consent is required and that requirement is met by signs posted in the store or at the entrance. And the cameras only monitor they don't record. The folks watching are employed by the store as loss prevention employees and only act if they view theft or some illegal act and they call the cops immediately.

So as you are being apprehended on your way out of the store, guilty of a crime, you play your trump card and complain about the cameras. Wonder how that will work out for ya? Good luck

The 37 states that allow cameras require notification. Notification is considered consent. If they have a sign up and you read the sign and went in anyway, you gave consent.

In any case, my main point stands. Many people assume it is illegal to have cameras in dressing rooms due to privacy laws. Several on this thread obviously believed that. My point was to show that assumption is incorrect, and it is only illegal in a handful of states.
