Might be a good idea...

... to keep a dose of vitamin C and Airborne with you. It probably won't help if you meet up with someone who is actually contagious but it could reduce the time that symptoms might last.

It's been a couple years since I've been sick and I usually have long periods of time in between getting sick - like a few years.

Oh crap! I'm probably due to get sick now. (lol)

Interfere with Intimate things like kissing when seeing a client or a provider? What precautions should one take..  I take lots of vitamins & herbals but pesky colds seem to sneak it's way in (btw I do not have the cold or the flu presently)...  I also consume garlic, ginseng, ginger when I feel my body feeling achy & it cures it right up!!!   As a provider we do not have paid sick days!!   Just wondering what everyone else do cuz I love Kissing!!!

Happy TGIF everyone!!!

Of disrespectful providers who work when they're sick and pass it on to me, knocking ME out of the hobby for a week.  Seems to be a common practice among providers, but it is what it is, right?

Besides one sinus infection, have not been sick over the past year.  Not sure if it is my flu shots or not.  Regardless, just got mine today, so in two weeks good bye flu (I hope).

I tend to try not to catch a cold during the flu season because 1. I hate being sick 2. I hate going to CVS while sick in the cold. I don't wan't to jinx myself but I haven't had a serious cold in years. I take Echinacea, the pills or the drop, when I feel a little under the weather. Emergen-C is great for when you think you have been exposed.  You should try taking care of your body like morning workouts, I like to think that I'm sweating out the germs and taking a warm, Not HOT!, shower with a citrus soap.
Eating more vegetables in your diet will also help. I like to put them in soups, like pea soup or a bean filled stew. Tea is a great way to start your morning. Your body will feel great and thank you. You will worry less about getting sick and always happy about feeling better for your friends.

I can't make a claim to "cause and effect" but I usually only get a cold about once every ten years or so. I see no reason to stop now. lol

He claims he never gets sick because there's so much alcohol in his blood it will not support another living thing, even if it's only a virus or bacterium.  Hell, it barely supports HIM.
I get a flu shot every year and never get sick.  Once I stopped working in an office every day I stopped getting colds.  Mass transit is another great way to get sick.

You get your flu shot and me and the fucking fucker will self medicate. Lets circle back in ten years and see which of us were right. lol

Fucking hookers who have kids is another way of getting sick too, but I will take my chances. It beats the hell out of going to an office or riding mass transit as a way of getting sick.

I came down with the worst case of flu, just days after the shot.  It was only the second time in my life I had gotten the flu.

I know everyone says it is coincidence, but my doctor confided that he sees this quite a bit, and said that I probably should not get flu shots in the future.  That was about 40 years ago, and I haven't had either a flu shot or the flu since, even though nearly every person in my office comes down with it every year - flu shots not withstanding

giving new meaning to the term:  filthy lucre.

Given the cash nature of this enterprise, I often wonder how much misery would be avoided could we use credit cards instead of cash.

I noticed that when I eschewed cash for daily purposes, my frequency of colds, etc., diminished

and there is nothing like having kids to make having colds a commonplace event.

I am sure the stock holders of Patron, Don Julio, Herradura et al are rejoicing.

I suppose I should start shopping for my replacement liver now however.

Flu vaccine, extra exercise, extra green vegetables, emergen-C, rest, and I use a neti pot every night before bed, to flush out my sinuses where pesky bugs are likely to be hiding. Also, don't forget to be extra vigilant about washing hands or sanitizing when you've been out in public touching doorknobs etc.

and make sure to get that flu shot every year! A little zinc and vitamin if I feel the sniffles and... I generally stay pretty healthy.

Plus multiple vitamins and now work out every single day. Since I have changed My Lifestyle I have not have any type of illness not even a sniffle.

But the real magic pills I eventually found in Chinese pharmacy (link). Not only do they cut cold or flu at root if you attack it at the onset of symptoms, they also noticeably decrease the cycle that  disease through if it still manages to take hold of you. Like my usually cold would last 7 days but with staff below it would go no more then 3 days. You have to take those 4 pills at a time very aggressively. Once I feel the cold coming on I usually take a dose every 3rd hour.

You can have them plain but I prefer sugar coated. It's just tastier.

The other no less effective option is https://www.amazon.com/Yin-Chiao-EXTRA-Concentrated-Flower/dp/B002RIN91K/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1476510940&sr=8-1&keywords=yin+chiao+tablets
It's especially effective at the onset of symptoms.

I have bottles of this strategically scattered around my home and automobiles. I haven't had a flu in 3 years.

But don't just trust me, read the reviews on the amazon.

Chicken soup does work too. But you literally have to eat 2 gallons of it in one day to kill the cold. I did it once a while back when I began feeling symptoms 1 day before I was to get on the plane that I just couldn't miss. After that experience I couldn't even look at the chicken soup for the following 3 months.

Mine is an extract of mushrooms and garlic made by a company called Kyolic.  It's their formula 103.

My ex turned me on to it right after our divorce*.  I've had very few colds ever since.

*It's in her interest to see that I live a very long time so as to ensure her alimony

If we are going to be pondering "cause and effect" don't you think the divorce itself is a more likely cause of your renewed good health than a mix of mushrooms and garlic?

BTW I ingest a mix of mushrooms and garlic all the time, only I just call it Italian food. You'll find that mix in a lot of Chinese food as well. lol

and catch a cold from her, did I just get an STD?

Goldenseal is the BEST herb ever. I take 4 pills daily along with a multivitamin.
I also sprinkle a bit of clove oil on my toothbrush with my toothpaste.

Sleep during these times is VERY important as well. It resets the body.
Exercise also works wonders to keep illnesses at bay.

And my MAJOR secret for when I feel the sickies coming on: coconut oil & honey!!!
I take a tablespoon 4x week or more
