END OF MESSAGE

It could just as well be one of us as a political issue that comes under the government's eyeballs.

For now FB has pulled the plug but only after the ACLU caught them.  The cat is out of the bag, and plenty more people will attempt to fill the void.

I know that asking people to drop SM is like asking a junkie to give up his stash, but at least consider the ramifications

There are all types of tools out that there that developer can create to still get access to the data, even though those Social Media sites shutoff access. Lets put it this way, it if comes across the wire in your browser the data can be automatically harvested and put into all types of database. Sites such as beenverified, instantcheckmate etc have already done it. You put in a phone number and bingo everything (pictures, home address, relatives, firearms licenses, court records, spouses, etc) comes up.

If you check in software developers forums you will many posts on how to automate logins into facebook.

Bottom line don't post anything on Social media.

Writing client programs do such tasks are very easy in programing languages java and C#. The software libraries will tell the host web server they are a browser USER_AGENT such as internet explorer, chrome, firefox, and/or a mobile device web browser. The documentation is pretty good.  You can implement simple button clicks, filling in fields, download files, etc anything that a user would do on a browser. These libraries allow all the html content to be read into local variable with one call.  The file downloading is very easy with just one line of code with the apache iocommons library.

And many agencies are using whatever means they can to spy on Americans, and cattle mutillations are real, and don't get me started about the third gunman on the grassy knoll.

Whenever someone writes a TER post like this, I just think, are you kidding me?

Fishele -- you reeeeeeaaalllllyyyy think that constant posting on TER is secure in the electronic world? SM is unsafe but TER is hunky dory?

Bottom line is that if someone wants to electronically track you, they will. TER is not protecting any of us. It's tough to hear but it's the truth.

G'mar chatimah tovah brother. Hope you had a meaningful fast, and may you be inscribed in the Book of Life
