There have been times I specifically requested professional but sexy office attire (detailed down to certain earrings); or lingerie; and even just a simple sheer robe.  Oh yeah, and one time a certain style of makeup as she keeps changing it up and one of the styles just triggered primordial response.

But even when not requesting something, whatever they've chosen to wear has been enjoyable too.  Sexiest thing they can wear is a genuine smile and confidence.

And based on your username, odds are you might be well served asking for an Inara Serra fantasy outfit with the right provider.

A few, not many, girls have asked me what I would like them to wear for our date. Now, this has happened a couple of times even on a first date, and I've had a hard time making up my mind. Should I ask for skimpy, elegant, naked, street clothes, cheerleader's costume, or what?

Guys, what is your answer to that question? Girls, are you open to a new guy making this kind of request even if you didn't bring it up first?

...either something you saw in her pictures that caught your eye, or if you don't have a preference, just ask her to surprise you. I personally love a gal in a little black dress!

I will ask. I may be in the mood for a specific color or lingerie, but if I ask it may be simply to make sure their undies are clean and don't have the prior hobbyist's paw prints on them. If they are wearing something that I don't like, it's coming off rather quickly.

On Ferenginar women are not allowed to wear clothes so it's irrelevant.

Very similar to a book series, from the 70's?,  I started to read a while back! Thanks for the reminder I stopped about 4 or 5 books into the series...

"The Slave Girl of Gor" where the men where men, and the women were slaves." (And mostly naked! No judgement, just caught me as vaguely familiar fictionally speaking!

Yet the gentleman, notice I said gentleman............ usually  tells to me to wear something that I feel comfortable and sexy in. When I feel good about myself, then the date does seem to go much smoother. Not like I am being graded on something.

I do get asked out for many extended dates and the guys I see like to great me in the lobby. That is why my site is so Vanilla...........Oh well, I do take requests to change into the room, yet, when we meet and are kissing on the elevator up. It just never seems to happen...........Kelley

Providing I have them, I am always willing to play "dress-up" (dare I say, that is one highly enjoyable part of this line of work! I have always loved the very feminine aspect of dressing-up/costuming.)

I will say that if a fellow asks me about high heels with red soles, alas, that is missing from my wardrobe, and a little hefty pricing, however,  he would certainly be more than welcome to bring me my own pair to sashay around in for his viewing pleasure!

I wear a size 7, haha!

Seriously though, wardrobe requests are cool, as long as I have enough time to shop/prepare the look :)  
My 2 cents.
