Download the free version of CCleaner and have it automatically clean your cookies daily -- preferably at shut-down or start-up. This will keep others using your computer from learning too much

If you use a Mac, try MacWasher.  It is a very similar program, and you should be able to locate a free version of it also

...but I don't know where else to post and/or send a question.  Sorry!

The login screen started auto filling in my email address and not my user name recently (no idea why).  It won't login with my email, so now I always need to delete it out and type in my username.  Very inconvenient, mechanical, and keeps me from reading the great posts (and the lame ones...) quickly.  Any guidance available?  Thanks in advance.

I clear out my cookies, and then re-enter the information and things often go better

If so, try this: go to Settings > Safari > Passwords, find the TER web page, and Edit the user name and password to what you want it to be (password has to be your current TER password of course).

I had this problem recently (happened when I changed passwords and Safari prompted me for something that I must have answered in a way that caused the change).

Like the previous poster said clear out your cookies first to see if it helps.

If it still does not work go to your browser's security option (Firefox in my case) and find the "saved passwords" tab or section. Then look for TER entry then delete it. The next time you try to log in you will see a blank space for your username. Type in your username and the browser will ask if you want to save that entry. Answer yes if you want it auto-fill with your username next time.
