There are definitely rules about what topics can be discussed on the GD.
They are right at the top of the page. Topics must pertain to sex, erotica, or the hobby. The OP's topic in this thread falls under the rules.
I believe "General" discussion means there are no limitations on the topics providing they are not better suited to another board. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. Since the link has "fuck" in it, I would vote that its okay to have it here.
