STD testing

I just go to a county health clinic periodically, it open to anybody with walk in service in a pretty decent medical building, there is never any wait there, and for $20 they do STD testing and give you web portal login access where the results are posted within 3 days.  It is not "anonymous" per se, but if you gave them a fake name, then I guess it would be anonymous.

Hi All! I'm new to the forum and wish to apologize ahead of time if I'm breaking any rules with the following post. How is everyone normally getting tested for STD/STI's? If there was a service that would come to your home/outcall/etc. for completely anonymous STD testing would people be interested? How much would this service be worth to you? Thanks for any and all insights.

try  stdtestexpress.com   you can pay my money order .. use a fake name and even sign in at the test center under an alias.

I was about to talk about my recent experience with this and who I'd recommend and who I would recommend against, but it doesn't sound like that's what you're asking. It sounds like you're doing market research. Personally, I would have absolutely no interest whatsoever in having someone come to me to do that. This isn't a pizza. It's just too easy for me to get to an office/lab whatever. I would put a premium on anonymity, though, which is part of the reason I'm not going to use the folks I used last time anymore. I don't know where you are, but I think there's only a few states that have set up self ordered testing. (?)

Yes, you are correct, my post is market research and I am in a state where self ordered testing is permissible. Additionally, my question arose from my own frustration of being in the hobby, valuing my anonymity, and wanting to play safe - possibly echoing your own situation. There may be options out there that check all those boxes, which I'd be interested to learn more about, but I also see a potential for "concierge" testing options in major metro areas for providers and hobbyists. I'd be very interested to hear from any providers out there too.

Stdcheck.com as well , works just like stdexpress,
I used both , they get kinda pricy but well worth it .

I usually test 3 times a year , once a year I use stdcheck.com
I get their full panel plus full blood workup and 2 times a year I go
To health department and for $40 they  test me for all
Stds .  The only thing wait time for results is typically few days longer.

I use fake names in both , public clinic and with stdcheck,
So don't worry they wont ask you for id .

Good luck and stay safe and always get tested .

$250 better not break the bank or I shouldn't be hobbying..  every 6 weeks or so..

Lol, I for one would love to have this service but there are risks that still present themselves.
Anonymous STD/STI testing is usually done with Quik Strips or some type of quick check as
they do in the free clinics which is usually via oral swab, prick to the finger or swab of genital fluids.
As we all should know, STD's etc don't always show up when tested. There is an incubation period before symptoms show in some people... a lot of people. And these tests are no match for the lethal things that are out here such as: Genital warts, Syphilis, HPV, and almost all of the diseases of the blood.

Of course... this isn't a perfect world

I have gotten really into this website called Earth Clinic .   It is like TER for natural DIY at home health food store alternative health care.   They have message board style reviews for all of that stuff, so you do not waste your money on garbage that does not work.  I  have some personal friends who had good experiences on Earth Clinic.  Same applies to  my experiences using it for myself too.  ( positive experiences )  Anyway, I noticed that Earth Clinic has listings for all STDs.  So, you can treat your herpes with Apple Cider Vingegar, etc.  I actually used Earth Clinic to successfully control an autoimmune disease I have, so that is my own testimonial for that cool life saving website.

I get tested 3-4 times a year, blood & urine are sampled. I just told my Primary Care Physician that I'm promiscuous - that's all she needed to know, and she described the varying test protocols & what was needed for high efficacy results. For my second test, the amount of blood drawn was much less, as she had found one lab that did all the tests for a reasonable cost. I have a GREAT doctor.

But let's think about it, when are test results really important? What I mean is that basic "safe sex" procedures actually work a ridiculously high percentage of the time, even with infected partners. I'm talking CBJ & CFS. Almost every provider I see performs BBBJ, and statistically the risks associated with that are quite low. But I'm comforted when a provider mentions periodic testing, and can talk about it like they're not making it up. In that context, my testing is a "belt & braces" approach to remaining STD-free. But the time when test results really matter is when you're talking  BBFS. And at that point, I don't give a damn about anonymity. If I found myself in a situation where BBFS was likely to happen (and in the hobby, I haven't yet), I'd insist on both of us getting tests through Talent Testing Services (like the porn stars do), and going to the testing location together. And each of us being able to show each other the results in a matching format. I love condoms. Condoms means I'm having sex, and will be safe doing so, going forward. Lose the condoms, and I want a level of disclosure - both hers & mine - worthy of marriage.
