Makes sense to me as I could see a lady wanting him dead.
And apparently he wants to see her again in spite of the fact he wasn't happy the first time. This makes less sense to me but apparently it is true. I guess he has a bit of a masochistic tendency.
I vote he goes for it. It should be great entertainment when he tells the tell, or we are down a troll. Ether way it sounds like a win for the rest of us.
