I used to be pretty silent about it. But since P4P, I'm in the habit of giving the girl a heads up its on the way. Not too loud, because that can cause some obvious problems with the neighbors. It started with oral, where I'm pretty sure the girls appreciate the courtesy of advance notice whether they spit or swallow and especially if they aren't CIM. For other activities, I find it a useful cue. When she's knows I'm almost there, she knows to keep up whatever she's doing, it's not a good time to switch positions, etc.

Now I'm the exact opposite, I get very vocal for the exact reasons that you don't, and I haven't ever had a provider wonder if I climaxed, it's evident.
