You can never say all people act in a certain way.  But in general women like assertive men.  Jerkiness is a proxy for assertion, so yes, jerks tend to do better with the ladies than timid men.

But jerky people are difficult to live with, so often the relationships are short lived.  Whereas if you are assertive in a more humane way, it's more likely you will both win the girl and also keep her for the long term

As for your question... It's not black and white, there are many shades of grey. Everyone's definition of a "nice guy" or "jerk" varies quite a bit.  

The key in my opinion has more to do with a guy's confidence and character. You can be confident and assertive without being a jerk, and you can be a nice guy without being a doormat.

In the hobby,
* 20% of hobbyists do not see 80% of providers.
* Negging a provider will get you blacklisted, rather than into bed with her.
* Being cocky and funny won't help or hurt your chances.
* It doesn't matter if you're an alpha male or beta male.
* Seeking permission/approval will generally help you.
* Being a heavy challenge will cause a provider to simply drop you and move on.

That said, I found that I was able to have more fun at M&G's, when I started flirting and playfully bantering with providers, rather than adopting a more approval-seeking stance, like I did early on in my hobby career.  Both hobbyists and providers are still human, after all.

and not date nice guys, though they would like to hang with the nice guys as friends.

My take on it is that they were afraid of making a commitment, and felt that by dating the jerk, they would eventually break up, and wouldn't have to worry about the commitment, but if they dated the nice guy, they'd have to excuse to break up, and so could get tied down.

The hobby is 180 degrees different.

If a guy is nice to them in the hobby, they'll go out of their way to be a good provider because they know there is little chance they'll get tied down.  On the other hand they'll want to avoid jerks because they can

#1: Negotiate the rate. It's all about the money and she'll respect you if you ask for a discount because losers are afraid to.
#2: After you negotiate a discount and set up an appointment, cancel it and let her know it's because you got something better to do or you just decided to jerk off instead.
#3:  Set up another appointment, but stop for a hotdog with lots of onions on the way.
#4: Demand service before payment because you don't wanna get ripped off.
#5 tell her she's kind of fat compared to her pictures.
#6: Cum in her hair.
#7: After you blow your wad, flip on the TV and watch SportsCenter because you still got 10 minutes on the clock.
#8: Take a shower before leaving and soak the bathroom. Drop a deuce in the can too.

Follow these simple guidelines and she'll be calling you back for sure.

Jerks lose every time

If I can be respectful, I absolutely expect this from a client. Why would I want to be around you if you're a jerk? There's too many polite, smart, wonderful people out there who I genuinely enjoy spending time with for me to want to waste my time. Jerks, go home.

Based on my experience, most ladies say they like a nice guy and mean it.  The rest *say* they like a nice guy, but don't mean it.

I've been known to bring flowers to a first encounter. Even on occasions when I was almost positive that there would be no second encounter (touring ladies from far away who were unlikely to return to my area). With regulars, frequent small gifts, and sometimes no-so-small ones if I could figure out something they would like.

Always showered, nicely dressed, polite, and READ their web pages/p4/etc so that I get the boundaries and menu. I send a thank you note every time, even with regulars on the nth encounter.

And so...why?

Well, apart from a silly belief in karma and a determination to be a gentleman, it's just smart. I've gotten OTC time, significantly lower rates (either special deals or significant savings from grandfathered rates), OTC lunch dates before and after, lovely intimate conversations, an occasional window into the provider's view of all this, which has been fascinating. Beyond that, just interesting times with interesting ladies, who were also drop dead gorgeous.

I don't know, or care, which approach "wins". I like being a gentleman, and a lot of the ladies seem to feel the same way.

Woman who do not have any complexes and is "bad enough " herself  would take very nice man..

Reading most of the provider profiles one thing that stands out to me is these ladies want to be treated with respect. Girls love newbie just to let you know. It is okay whatever speed is yours. Dont try to be you just be.
