They conference behind locked doors with no Republicans allowed, which is totally opposite to BHO promise.

Can any of you like the fact that a trillion dollars is being spent without the Senators even have a chance to read the bill?
Can any of you support the fact that a trillion dollars is being spent without giving the People a realistic chance to know what it is?
Can any of you rationalize by passing legislative hearings normally used to study any legislation, much less spending trillion dollars without the normal process of hearings where flaws can be discovered and corrected and the need for the bill to be debated on its merits?
I just read that some jerk wants to have congressional hearings on "reconcilliation" over the excesses of the Bush era. None of these hearings would lead to legislation, WHICH IS THE SENATE'S JOB. Shouldn't they have at least one hearing with one witness prior to spending more money in one bill than has ever been spent before?

Not true. The high speed rail funding in the bill isn't allocated to any specific project. In fact, the Vegas to California rail connection has been the pet project of the Republican governors of Nevada and California, not Reid.
