Taxpayers received an Economic Stimulus Payment.
This was a very exciting new program that can be explained using the Q and A format:
Q. What is an Economic Stimulus Payment?
A. It is money that the federal government will send to taxpayers.
Q. Where will the government get this money?
A. From taxpayers.
Q. So the government is giving me back my own money?
A. Only a smidgen.
Q. What is the purpose of this payment?
A. The plan is that you will use the money to purchase a
high-definition TV set, thus stimulating the economy.
Q. But isn't that stimulating the economy of China?
A. Shut up.
Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the US economy by
spending your stimulus check wisely:
If you spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China.
If you spend it on gasoline, it will go to the Arabs.
If you purchase a computer, it will go to India.
If you purchase fruit and vegetables, it will go to Mexico, Honduras,
and Guatemala (unless you buy organic).
If you buy a car, it will go to Japan.
If you purchase useless crap, it will go to Taiwan.
And none of it will help the American economy.
We need to keep that money here in America.
You can keep the money in America by spending it at yard sales, going
to baseball/football games, or spend it on prostitutes, beer
(domestic ONLY), or tattoos, since those are the only businesses
still in the US.

Your more enlightened than most, as most people don't really even question these things.
When the gold standard was lifted, when the gold and silver was taken out of American coins and when American currency ceased to be backed by gold, over a series of treasonous acts by Congress in the last century, then we basically were left with phony Monopoly money.
Instead of the government producing all coins and paper money for public circulation, as required by the Constitution, the government pays a private company, The Federal Reserve, to produce our money. A few "European Banks" (the only thing European about them is the fact that they are located on Euro soil) such as the Rothchilds,Warburgs,KoenLoeb,etc manipulate and control the Federal Reserve and have had the most to do with the destruction of the dollar which has occured over the past century.
The economy being largely dependent on credit lines is also a problem, our economy is largely based not on production of goods and services and the enrichment of people who produce things that help society but of the moving of money to one place to another without any production.
Usury is not something that can be practiced at the beginning of a society, as it produces nothing of value, it can only be established after the infrastructure of a country has been built. Then the usurers come in and do their bidding.
If you get rid of the usurers and base the economy on gold and silver, and personal wealth on producing something of value to the nation, then we would not need anymore bailouts where we throw tons of worthless money around at problems that are terminal without fundemental change to the system.
Your comments on globalism are very valid as well. We must have capitalism that is harnessed by the interests of the nation. Free enterprise is great but it must not be abused like it is today.
National interests must never be trumped by the interests of a few individuals profiting off cheap labor off shore, these people simply have no place in a healthy nation.
An economy based on free enterprise with a healthy dose of nationalism is what the founders intended, more or less.
