I once received a text from my provider's mamasan letting me know my ATF was in town. I appreciated that since my ATF (and all the ladies in the agency) came and went frequently.
I wouldn't mind receiving texts to see if I was available as long as it didn't seem like a group text/advertising and it was frequent.
