Something we agree on.

All of these baseball players getting charged with perjury, lying to Congress, what a joke!

Regardless of what you think about steroids in baseball, I find it revolting that the biggest collection of liars, crooks, cowards, traitors, sneakthiefs, and hypocrites ever assembled in the history of man (the US Congress) are passing judgement on the morals and honesty of anyone else. If anyone deserves to be rolled into a courtroom for lying its all of them, what a bad joke.

Who else but 100 of the biggest "liars, crooks, cowards, traitors, sneakthiefs, and hypocrites" would you suggest?

I think all the ballplayers should take their lead from Mark McGwire. Baseball "purists" need to get their collective heads out of the sand. Vitrually everyone in baseball did it, the only ones being persecuted/prosecuted are the ones that were good at it.

We are about to print countless trillions of dollars that we don't have, I don't give a fuck about ARod's or Bond's steroid use. How about prosecuting the owners for extorting billions of dollars from the municipalities in which they pay, they are the real villians.

the be a "collection of liars, crooks, cowards, traitors, sneakthiefs and hypocrites," you think they should not do the job that their constituents elected them to do?

Oh, btw, I could give a rip about baseball. They left me behind after their 3rd strike. Both the players and owners showed they had no regard for the fans.

The players swore that they were telling the truth to lawfully elected representatives of the people of the USA. By lying, they are actually lying to the people of the USA. Regardless of what we think about the officeholders, congress is the essence of rule of law in the USA.
