Oud Wood by Tom Ford!! It's sooooooooooo sexy

As I have recently learned that my cologne-of-choice may be, um, somewhat "low rent" (no names!) I must ask the professionals (though anyone is of course welcome to chime in) what their current men's cologne/scent is, with the understanding the body chemistry will vary the results from dude to dude.

Thoughts!

Is that most ladies would prefer no cologne. It's like a women having perfume, if you went home and your wife or SO went "sniffing" around and then you're screwed. But this is just me so....I'll just continue to use my Acqua Di Gio body soap and leave it at that.

Clean as in freshly showered, Crisp as in freshly printed Bens, and Not over powering.

Some of my personal favs Clive Christian, Kilian (Straight to Heaven), Tom Ford and Ralph Lauren all make amazing mens cologne.  And a non perfumed good bar of soap for a couple dollars is my end all, beat all best scent.  :)

I would urge you to use whatever you select sparingly and not on your neck, ears, nor man parts.
I suggest a light drop (from your finger not the bottle) shared at your shoulder, and believe it or not lower back, and maybe one thigh.  All from the same drop.   A really superior cologne will require using less and you just want a hint to mix with your natural scent.  Every scent smells a little different on each person.   And remember, less is really more as many men know from anyone who has had a date with a woman reeking of perfume.   Even the most expensive product for either sex is pretty off putting in a large amount.   If you want the lady to kiss and sensually enjoy your neck, ears and the family jewels then dot the areas around those parts not directly on them.  Or she will probably delicately suggest you both shower together, or she might avoid those areas all together which would be a real bummer for both of you.  :)   I apply my perfume this way to just add an overall fresh hint of a scent and never directly to areas I love getting lots of attention!

I absolutely adore Penhaligon's men's colognes. They have an old-time barbershop feel and are subtle, and not everyone will smell like you. I'm partial to Hammam Bouquet, "An animalic scent, warm and mature, redolent of old books, powdered resins & ancient rooms." http://www.penhaligons.com/us/gentlemen-fragrances/

If you don't want to spend too much, C.O. Bigelow has a scent called Elixir Black, which is also quite nice. It's commonly available at Bath & Body Works.

I should have been clearer that I wasn't necessarily referring to a scent to wear at a session, but in general.

I also like Ralph Lauren Polo Black.A few more I can't remember now but whatever you choose please DO NOT buy Lagerfeld or Fahrenheit...don' smell that good.Oh I also like Aqua Di Gio for men.

When a man wears Drakkar it drives me wild!  I can be walking through the super market and pass a gentleman that's wearing Drakkar and I get excited lol.  After all this time and it's still my favorite :)

Any cologne that is too detectable often keeps me too concerned of possible hygiene cover ups.
A man's soap and the smell of super fresh and clean are the very best scent.
Please don't forget the water pik and extra brushing. An altoid over halitosis is like throwing a mint into a morgue

It's right for me... Chemistry does indeed play a part in how a particular cologne smells on a gentleman. Therefore, my favorite varies based on the person. One smell that I must say that I love more than anything is fresh out of the shower soapy scent. It is better than any cologne... Lol!;) Just being a little silly.

Nonetheless, to answer your question, I absolutely love Mary Kay True Original. It may be an interesting choice... Idk, but it smells very delicious;)

Best Wishes;) -Abla

Different sents are attractive to different women. In the testing I read their was no male perfumes/cologne/aftershave that a majority of women found attractive. If you don't know a particular women's tastes odds favor a swing and a miss. Add in allergies and the miss can ruin any hope of fun.

Most women like a the sent of a freshly bathed man. If in doubt go with that.
