I particularly enjoy mixing a couple of flavors. Ideally, butter pecan and mint chocolate chip.

In fact, I may skip this fasting day and go get me some ice cream. lol!

Totally makes sense. I'm going to tweet this 31 flavors thing. LOL

Scroll down below the article about Paul Ryan's intern stuff.

Looks good to me !  Bright-enthusiastic-eager to learn and work......(placement of the sex worker ad to follow is interesting )

Seems more like clickbait, plus the article must have been deleted, because it did not show up. A direct link to article would have been better.

except the 800/hour. That would be nice. LOL.

I like the article, but to be honest, I haven't been a part of many agencies that hold the high standards as Rita's agency does. As much as the experience was "meh", they didn't charge a high price, then take a cut. In fact, they gave out "specials" a lot, and that was really fkin annoying. Very rarely have I even had an assistant who didn't offer discounts. They also didn't weed out the crazies.

Where are the Ritas across the globe? lol!

I like the third person resource when gathering the info to protect the customer; however, they are more on the grid if they're a successful agency, as opposed to one person.

I really like being indy, because I know exactly who is walking through my door, and what his personality is like before we meet. I didn't feel as comfortable when I had booking assistants or was a part of the agency. I was always representing them, as opposed to them representing me. (Even they said though their job was to represent me, but...)

I'm looking back on my reviews and - there is a huge difference in looks and performance when I didn't have control over my clients. Hmm... interesting.

So - all that to say, what the article didn't seem to touch on, was the screening for compatibility that many of us do. Kind of like Match.com and Agency screening combined, only way better. :D

I've used agencies over the years.  I've seen indy's over the years.  There is no real difference to this guy.

If the girl matches the pics, then all is well.  But in both instances I have had girls show up that really didn't resemble the pics.  That is a problem.  Seems like it's been getting worse too.  Far too much photoshopping.

As for scoring.  Once that door is closed, her being indy vs. agency is irrelevant to me

In Courtney's post she discussed screening for compatibility and said that her specific experience with agencies did not weed out the crazies. What she's saying is that her experience being independent has been a major factor in meeting men she has a very good time with. Beautiful things like that happen when you represent yourself.

Imagine if you had someone else setting up dates on your behalf, then you arrive and even if the lady is the girl in the photos....she's just confused because you seem like a different man than the one she talked to. Its sort've like that with assistants and agencies, unless you're only thinking about the acronyms. Which is OK....but there are some men and women seeking something in addition to the acronyms because its what gets their blood flowing. And to be fair, if thats what it takes, then no problem. This business is like Baskin Robins 31 flavors....everyone can find their formula and get it solved.

I couldn't handle not having complete control over compatibility with clients. Someone my assistant would get along with wouldn't be the same as someone I would. It was a tad tiring and unnerving trying to please everybody.

Also, when you work with an agency, you get a lot of "Which girl do you have in my town?" Then they say "Courtney Ova".

What happens there is, the guy is looking for a girl from that agency, vs. a particular type. Definitely made a big difference in performance, as you tend to try to mend your personality to more of a blanket personality and performance - as opposed to just being you and advertising you.

I had fun, but I like really knowing the guy picked me because he picked me, as opposed to picked me because he picked my agency or assistant. (Which consisted of blondes with huge fake tits - PSE - spinners - all sorts of types. Then there's artsy fartsy curvy goofy Courtney lol!)
