I havent cooked anything too grand, but I really do make divine salads- the kind where people who dislike salads wind up enjoying immensely- and have made them for long dates. Her mistake here, in terms of the public fallout, was choosing Fisher, no doubt; but the real problem is one of attitude. Would it matter if she was talking to Mrfisher, BOB, Bingbong, or anyone else? The point is she reads posts, then "speaks the truth" (her words) about the poster. That "truth" is as she sees it, after making several huge assumptions, and it's usually snarky, rude, and mean-spirited. This has been going on for some time. It just finally became an issue because of how well liked Mrfisher is.
You're right, her reputation and her business can and will "recover" from this, if there is even really anything from which to recover. You're certainly also correct that Mrfisher has chosen not to hold this against her and neither should any of the rest of us. However, in the larger view, Stephanie is absolutely right. She is hard-edged and jaded and that's very unattractive to a lot of people.

Most everyone rants about their job from time to time. It is natural to vent and let out frustration to fiends, coworkers and family. I do it. My wife who loves being a sex worker does it. Here is the problem, sex work can be very socially isolating. Often the ladies do feel they can't be open ether because they feel they have to hide what they do or their friends and family wish they would leave this and would use any complaint to hammer it home. If one carefully read what Lisa said in the first place, it was obvious she was talking about the OP not Mr Fisher; but she posted it under his reply by mistake. So a few who know and like Mr Fisher, who may be the greatest gent here for all I know, got their knickers in a twist attacking her over nothing, in one case in a particularly classless profanity filled rant. Is it any wonder few providers venture their opinions on this board. Sometimes good conversations result at threads here; but unfortunately many times the threads simply deteriorate into mud slinging affairs started by the usual suspects; and that's a real shame IMHO.
