Son, that was quite nice of you to pass on all those worthwhile tips for any visitors.

Having just completed a week long business trip to the DC area, here are some tips for visiting gentlemen.  Much of this is common sense but...

The recommendations on this board are typically accurate.  While your-mileage-may-vary, the well reviewed girls should meet your expectations.

At the same time, those well-reviewed girls will be in demand.  I called an Agency around dinner time and inquired about a certain girl.  The first evening she was booked solid and the following evening I was told that the earliest she could get to my hotel in Tysons Corner would be around midnight.  And I figured I'd probably be her fourth or fifth date for the evening.  Ummmm, I'll try another night.  The third time was the charm.  I called before dinner and got my date.

Plan for the DC Metro traffic.  Movement around town in between 4 and 7pm is sheer chaos and even more so for someone visiting and not totally knowledgeable of the roads.  And it gets even worse when it rains.  Parking in the District is difficult (unless you are willing to pay) and potentially dangerous to you and your rental car.  The Metro subway system is clean and reliable but always pack some sort of small city map in your pocket because once you reach street level you could find yourself disoriented.  Any Metro Station could have as many as four exits and each one may disgorge you as much a a full city block from where you expected to be.  If you are unsure it's best to invest a little more and request a visit to your hotel.

Be flexible.  I had arranged for a date with an Agency.  I requested 7:30pm at my hotel but they countered with 9pm on account of the traffic.  I agreed.  I later received a call back reporting traffic was not as bad as predicted and would I accept my date if she arrived by 8:30pm.  Absolutely.  I was told I would receive a call when she reached the hotel.  At 8:20 I heard a light rapping on my door.  It was my date.  I asked about the phone call but she said, she forgot.

Hotel security can be problematic.  The hotel I was staying in required a key card to access the building after 10pm.  Others require a key card to operate the elevator.  If your place has either, might be a good idea to rendezvous downstairs.

Anything else that I might have missed?

Looks like you've covered it very well.  The point on traffic is worth emphasizing:  DC traffic is absolutely abominable, so allow *lots* of extra time.  Only LA is comparable.

Thanks for the handy tips!

Cheers!
