anyone ever had a "date" on a boat at the marina? going to sail my boat from Virginia down the coast, around the Keys an up to Tampa later this summer. would like to meet a few ladies on the way but avoid having to rent a hotel.
On the back of a boat. It was a fun (and educational) experience to go on an outing with one of my lovers. Definitely a good idea for multi-hour dates as you can go fishing, swimming, and jet skiing as well.

I remember the sailboats we used to charter down in the Virgins. The Captains cabin was spacious enough on those 49' sloops, but the v-birth and side cabins were cramped. The smaller, 35' sloops we used to charter in Long Island Sound wouldn't have done.
I wish I were you. What a blast it would be to take that kind of sailing trip. Green with envy!

Looked pretty sweet, but if it's a typical Hunter, it is longer on amenities than performance. But, the latter is acceptable with most, and the former more important, and with an aft cabin, you have things covered.
As far as picking up ladies in Florida, I would stop off in the Fort Lauderdale area, and see if they are will to go Key West, Fort Myers region, or all the way to Tampa Bay. It will be expensive, though...

I sold my sailboat 10 years ago.. But at that time I did not have anything to do with the hobby (probably most of us didn't).. I think frequently how great it would be to have a boat..Mine had a great queen sized berth and an enclosed head.. plenty of room for fun...
Easy enough to pull in and grab a transient slip as you travel.. and then do a search on TER or P411.. I envy you..
"We" last had a 31' Catalina that became collateral damage during the divorce. She forced me to sell it and we were upside down because of 2008...when we bought it, we were $10k to the good. anyway, I thought about having an escort visit while I was living on it during the great exile, but thought she may be having me followed. So long story short, HELL YES...plan your trip out, contact the providers and have a freaking fun time!!!
