One doesn't need to spend a lot of money to get a good wine. My favorite Italian red is $34 a bottle and my favorite French is around the same price.  I just don't care to much for wines made here in the US. My ex was a full blooded Italian and he showed me so many good reds  :) only one reason he's still one of my best friends.
I also went to France and fell in love with the French whites. They are so spoiled over there with their wines :) mmmmmm....
XOXO,
TL

I usually drink grey goose or belvedere every now and then Ketel One.
I used to drink Tito's but I am getting tired of that.
I had a gent buy me the Grey Goose VX bottle wow!Vodka with a finishing touch of brandy goes down very smooth.
I guess I am midrange grey goose and belvedere are not expensive unless you buy the grey goose vx
I had a gent recently buy me a bottle of Deep Eddy Vodka never heard of it I don't think it costs too much at all but it wasn't bad.
Not too much of a wine drinker but I do like a glass every now and then of champage veuve de clicquo

I rarely drink, so when I do, I want to really enjoy it. I like red wine and tequila. Neither of the beverages are enjoyable at the lower end of the spectrum.

I love a full bodied Cab, right now my fav is Caymus
I also love a lemon drop martini the sour with the sweet
What I really look for is a celebration in my mouth

And it figures when you consider that it's Vegas but.. Vodka and Red Bull..it makes sense.

I alternate between loving all things sweet and fruity, and enjoying dark, more bitter things.

A good Islay whisky (a scotch old enough to buy me another scotch). OR a champagne sake,  moscato (all the time is a good time for a mimosa). Maybe a G&T (Boodles if they have it).  Or a brandy, pear brandy being my favorite, or a framboise. A Pearasous is Maredsous (Abbey Ale)  topped with pear brandy, it's tasty.
Honey Jack and lemonade which is yummy, or a dark and delicious Russian Imperial Stout (preferably on tap, obviously. Tap, bottle and then, if only there is nothing else, can) or Chocolate Stout.
And while I prefer my beer dark, Leinenkugels Berry Weiss tastes like fruity pebbles, which is sort of amazing and dangerous. I'm also a sucker for silly, overly complex hipster cocktails.

My experience is that a provider's favorite beverage is without a doubt, Champagne.

Here's a typical conversation I secretly recorded on my last date, to show you

I like Grey Goose, Ketel One, or Belvedere mixed with either cranberry juice, lemonade, or Sugar Free Red Bull. For cheaper vodkas, I like Skyy, Absolut, or Smirnoff. The really cheap stuff-i.e. the kinds you can buy for $10-12 for a 1.75 liter, usually give me gut rot. lol

For beer, I like Bud Light, Miller Lite, or Corona with lime. :)

I like most types of white wine, but I don't drink wine very often. It tends to make me sleepy.
