This is a great opinion piece by Belle Knox on Prostitution and Why it should be legalized. She makes some very great points in this article focusing on several aspects surrounding prostitution. A great read for everyone.

She speaks common sense that the courts/politicians, even LE should champion, like has been done by the gay and lesbian folks! If that group, that was formerly shunned and vilified, why not these ladies?

I hope she makes her dream of being a lawyer come true and is able to help the wonderful ladies who choose this career path to have a safer work environment in which to bring smiles to us guys ugly mugs;P))

Actually, I was referring to all the unwashed, unshaven(except for this month's in support of men's health no shave), beer bellied ,onion breath, white sock wearing types, NOT me, or anybody in the Hobby:))  Couple years ago(um a few, a few), I had a lil lady in my childhood home and she was looking around while I got us a drink, and I heard a "wow!".  I found her looking at the portrait that my mom had commissioned a bust of me in my military uniform hanging on the wall. She turned and looked at me and back at the portrait and back at me and said, "I thought that you looked like somebody, now I can see that you look enough like Elvis to be his brother!" ROTFLMAO!  Sooooooo, I was just being nice to include me in that ugly bunch:))  I gave her a nice tip:))  
Maybe I should change my board name to "Brother EP";))  "Luv me tender, luv me long time..." now can you see the resemblance:))

A very interesting read.  It is sad that alot of ladies end up being abused/hurt etc and are not protected by the law or any type of union or something similar.  I personally dont see where the criminal acts lie in the hobby.  I pay, we have sex, we walk away.  Criminal............um no.  The United States holds sex to a whole different standard.  Overseas for example porn is on late at night, for free.  In Amsterdam you can literally window-shop for the lady you want.  Its a strange light on sex here in the good ole USA.

Been to Amsterdam and you are 100 percent correct. There is a whole section of ladies behind glass like live mannequins in the "Red Light" district. The glass doors open for the ladies to talk to customers. When a price is agreed on the customer goes into the room and curtains are drawn across the glass window indicating that the girls is busy. Ten to fifteen minutes later (no more) the customer steps out of the glass door an the curtain is drawn open again. Usually the guys friends are waiting on the street and its jeers, cheers, and high fives all around. I watched the same exchange several times and realized that groups of horny guys are the same no matter where they are from. The rooms were tiny with a box-like twin bed and maybe a small chair for the provider to sit on and that's it! Clients know that the clock is ticking from the moment they walk in. It's strictly high volume, quick visits at a steep price. It's a tourist thing for sure. One interesting thing about the Red Light District is that you never see photos of the girls in the windows. That's because signs are posted everywhere in the Red Light District saying "NO PHOTOS" cameras are not allowed and the taking photographs will likely result in the camera being tossed into one of the canals by one of the "bouncers" who seem to be everywhere. A good definition of "The Dam" is, It's an Adult Disneyland. It has something for everyone AND without the signs that say, 'You have to be ^ this tall to ride.'

I was watching my last arrest on video with a friend and he could not believe it. He said we need to put this on UTUBE and it will go viral. Especially showing how they set the room up, etc.

Hmmm...........I wonder how they would feel with their faces in the media.........Oh geez, they are cops they would be proud, what am I thinking?????

In Mexico it is legal as long as you have your health card updated every 3 months and Canada, overlooks it as long as you do out call. And the beat goes on.........La te da duh, la te duh te de. "Cher"

A bunch of us were checking out one lady.  She was a stunner.  Auburn hair, blue eyes just beautiful.  I had my money ready to go.  And yes the rooms are quite tiny.  If you're expecting a session from a lady that you get here its not gonna happen.  Anyway so Im ready to go and she says she has to make me aware of something.  Lifts up the skirt, total TS lady.  Never seen so many guys scatter at once haha!  The locals were laughing because they knew.  Wasnt all bad though, I used the whole situation to get one of the local girls to get naked with me later.  ;-)  Black guys, even half black guys are like a commodity over there.

Emma Mae did it, so, why not Belle, and Emma's time donations are  reasonable for the area:))  I met her once at an incall  location and shook her hand and said "Hello", however, the door where my date was waiting on me was open and I could see that she was "ready" for more than a hand shake;P~~~, so I made a mental note to have mirrors all around for my date with Emma, so that I could be a porn star guy in my own production;P~~~  Hoping to do that for my Christmas gift to myself this year:))

Fantastic article by the lovely Ms. Knox. I just wish I hadn't read through the ignorant comments below (as is often the case when I read anything online - I should really know better by now not to read comments on the internet).  

But really, for all of the drama and discord often rife on TER discussion boards, it's easy to forget that despite our endemic conflicts we do share common ground as actual participants in "the hobby". At least from my perspective, I guess I sometimes take for granted that our little dysfunctional TER community is a very small minority in the US and that most online message boards will still reflect diametric stances on prostitution (disproportionately in opposition), propagated through extreme over-generalizations and antiquated, misogynistic trolling (from both men and women). This is not to say participants in the TER community do not communicate in an overly-generalized misogynistic manner, but there's some saving grace in having first hand experience in P4P, as opposed to condemning a lifestyle you know literally nothing about.

Sorry to state the obvious.. but I guess this is all to say..at least we have each other? In this season of thanks and giving and whatnot? ;)

I had skipped that section because I had no interest in hearing unqualified opinions from the unwashed masses. After All, they are the same type of person seen cheering on TV shows like Jerry Springer. The Germans have a word for pleasure taken from the misfortune and suffering of others (spell check won't let me type it though) However, they also have a word for those people who take enjoyment from the misfortune and suffering of others. That word is ASSHOLE, but I think that there maybe an German dot dot thingy missing over the O-spellcheck again ! ;) ;)

I'm pretty sure "Asshole" isn't a German word actually, but thanks for the Deutsch lesson. BTW I've apologized to Bella for posting such a juvenile comment to her thoughtful and well written post. But I do stupid stuff at times ...

Actually, I took German language for two years while in college, but for the life of me I couldn't remember how to ask for a napkin in German the first time I visited Germany and I desperately needed one because I had chocolate icing all over my chin and fingers. (I should have used that fork!) I stuttered, cursed Germany and their messy cakes, and snapped my chocolate-covered fingers, but "Farfegnugen" was the only German word I could remember (I had been living in Italy for a year and forgot all of my German.) The waiter looked at me and in perfect English said, "Would you like a napkin?" ... "yes, and the check please." was my answer.
