Simply put - I generally view men the same way straight men view them. We all can appreciate and acknowledge a good looking guy, but thinking someone is attractive is one thing...attraction in a sexual way is something else entirely. And I assume that FatsoVern was alluding to the sexual attraction aspect.

My mum loved Charleton Heston and Greogory Peck and Clint Eastwood movies so that's what we watched when I was growing up. As an adult woman I'm physically attracted to tall, quietly confident, strong looking men who don't talk much - my theory is that's what I was exposed to most as a kid??
I just think it's fascinating how another human being can provide me so much pleasure, from their physical appareance, to the way they touch me, caress me, kiss me, etc etc.
It's something very primal and the further you dissect the why, the more questions arise. I noticed how over time I have developed a taste for certain things I didn't find sexy before. But I can't understand why I couldn't find them attractive before and now I do. I'm just glad I am aware of it and I am always open to try new things.
Even just speaking physically I know I see women who I know are beautiful, but for some reason I'm not attracted to them. I like to think of them as 'technically beautiful', I can see each part of the woman is attractive but something in the whole just leaves me cold.
The women I'm truly attracted to will also be beautiful but I have to feel there's some spark in them, something different, and while I never know exactly what that is I sure as hell know it when I see it. It's like what they say,
