Was traveling to Raleigh, and set a date/time with Sonya Selek a few days in advance. She has several good reviews on TER. Told her I'd text her earlier on the day of my arrival to let her know I was almost there. Texted her and also sent her a message thru P411. She did not reply, which kind of gave me an uneasy feeling. The time of our appointment came and she did not show up at my hotel.  I tried calling her to see if she was having trouble, but she did not answer. She has a phone where the mailbox is not set up so I could not leave a voice message. I went online on P411 to see if she had sent me a message, and I could see that she was also online, so I know she was just ignoring me. She never responded to any of my messages or gave me a reason why she stood me up.

I can understand that stuff happens in life, but it is just plain rude and unprofessional not to call or send a message that you don't feel like meeting for some reason. To all the providers who have experienced this, I feel your pain and frustration. For what it's worth, I have never done this to a provider.
