I've always been a rather hyperactive, multi-tasking adult. Staying busy and focusing completely upon the task at hand has always described me, until just before heart surgery last year. After that and the return to an even more fulfilled life, the physicians decided that to be safe and calm me down; I needed to be on some anti-anxiety medication. The down side to that medication made me a candidate for that overly expensive "little blue pill." That pill gives me headaches!
Either that or quit taking my anti-anxiety medicine for 4 or 5 days. Earlier this month I did that in order to have a truly special couple of days.
I was in the NC mountains and had a window to meet one of my favorite ladies. Two days before my schedule changed and I let her know that the window of opportunity had closed. Meanwhile, I had to remind myself constantly "slow down, you move too fast; you got to make the morning last. Skipping down the cobble stones, it's so fun I'm feeling groovy. . ."
Still on the schedule was a lady in Charlotte, and she canceled just minutes before our meeting.
I started in this hobby 15 years ago, and I've met some truly wonderful (and a few not-so-wonderful) ladies. I've had some hour long meetings, but by and far most meetings have been extended dates and overnights. Many of the ladies have retired, but my memories of them live on. Some are still active and are among the highly rated ones on TER, and there are even some mature ladies that I regret never meeting.
So, I've decided after the last fiasco that preparation for a meeting is just way too much sacrifice. I'm retiring and I thank those that were truly close, open, and enjoyable dates! It has been a wild ride!
I for one have enjoyed our special times together and it makes me sad to see you go. Yet on the other hand, health and family to me should always come first. Because if we don't take time for our health the body expires and we surely won't have any friends or family then. I respect and honor your decision to step down. All my best to you. Kelley

Steph is very sad now, I want another steak cooked by you. I want to see you all spiffed up in one of your suits and a bow tie!
Please just take a break and come back to the ladies who treasure you when you are ready.
BTW I can recommend some supplements I get from my integrative doc to calm you without the side affects of your prescription. And some products to help with that other thing too.

I agree with Steph, it is not your performance that counts, it is your personality and presence as the Southern Gent I will miss.........When I got home from Mexico they took blood tests and lord knows what kind of sleep medicine I am on that interferes with that part of my body.
I will never ever have this done again. They decided I was at ground zero for Testosterone and Estrogen. Then they sent these lab reports off to have these pellets made especially for me. They put them in me and if I could rip these suckers out, I would. I have never ever, watched so much porn or been a slave to what you guys call testosterone before.
Needless to say the hair I am growing on my face. Other private parts of my body that are swelling all the time.......I feel like I am going thru puberty all over again. Not fun.....Yet, I have found that people like me for me and I know the same goes for you. So, there, I went Public. and I am not embarrassed to say the least.
It gives me a whole different understanding of MEN..........Don't go, we are all just people who want to have friends and have a good time. Kelley

I had the same problem and had to switch to another one. It's called Stendra and it doesn't give me a headache and works just as well. Otherwise, I wish you well regardless of whether or not you retire now or later.
The whole hobby has changed so much and in my opinion not so much for the better. The frustration level has gone way up as a result of many things. The return on investment is not really there anymore. Sad but true.
Ian, Sad but true. Basic human respect for one another is lacking in some cases - and I'm certain that it flies both ways. From a gentleman's perspective: if you plan a 2 hour of so date and have budgeted $$$, made preparations, etc., then for the lady to send a text and cancel at the last minute without reason (and one that you've seen before) is poor service. On the other hand, I'm certain that the ladies have dealt with much less than gentlemanly manners, and some may like it, but it is not me. I can see this hobby migrating more toward the BP ladies, as the good men and ladies will tire of the inconvenience.
and do what makes YOU happy! Definitely slow down and enjoy what this precious world has to offer.

I can understand how you feel, and health and happiness are fleeting commodities. The comments from the ladies about you are genuine, and I am sure make you at least a bit happy, regardless of the future.
I think many of us who entertain this hobby, even if on an infrequent basis like myself, feel best when they bring pleasure to others, and form a bond, if only for a brief few moments..
