I watch all these videos about the war in iraq/afghanistan and I think to myself...It looks like hell. But the messed up thing is that now i want to join like REALLY bad. My brother's destined for the military so I told him that I'm going with him whenever he goes...Which won't be for like three more years.But I'm thinking of getting finished with college and then serve abroad in base hospitals. Has anybody had a positive experience with the army?
I have been through a war and a very nasty revolution. The only thing I can assure you is the experience permanently changes your perception of life. Some very excellent survival skills are learned along with some devastating effects of war. I have no regrets about the way I lived my life after the war but I often wonder what direction I would have taken after I graduated from college had I not gone to war. The decision is yours and yours alone. Good Luck
You need to be a special person to be willing to participate in the barbarism involved in war. I did it and it changed me forever. What you see in videos and what you read about war cannot convey the taste and scent of war.
Yes, I have my own morbid fascination. YouTube feeds it with tales of mind control & the illuminati. Lately my sleep has been disturbed because of it. Shayla, you are so young....please stay here!!
