So, I've been lurking around in here for a little bit, and man.....there is so much bs that goes on in here.
Personally, I find it entertaining (at the very least) and even educational, as I love getting inside people's heads and getting a glimpse of how they work.
I can certainly see how some women would do well to stay away from here. It's true, when we (providers) post anything on these boards, it can impact our business, for better or worse.
I think all of us should remember that this is the internet, and like ANY OTHER forum/board on it, there is going to be a mix of people and beliefs and not all of us are going to agree.
That's just life and people.
It's what makes it interesting.
If you get offended...step away for a bit and don't allow yourself to get dragged into a flame war.
If you want to share your opinion...do it, but don't get offended when others disagree or call you on it.
So, to all of you...trolls, parrots, and piñatas, alike......please keep it up, as I enjoy all you guys and gals have to offer.
This is a place for egos and alter egos to come out. Thin-skinned people not wanted. It's not real folks.

On a more serious note, it is always good to have your opinions challenged, and to hear the perspectives of others. How else can learn new things?
Information, entertainment, and connections. The boards, reviews, and backchannelling provide the information, which can lead to connections. The fighting, namecalling, and trainwrecks provide the entertainment.
My dad always said opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, and the only thing assholes are good for is shitting all over everything. There is an appropriate time and place to shit, and so goes for opinions.
But, it is fun to pull down your pants in the middle of everything and take a shit sometimes.
