And if the ad directs me to a provider's or agency's own website, so much the better. CL, BP, and HX are too lowbrow for me.
Whenever I say something like this, there are always guys who chime in about this girl or that girl that they "discovered" on one of these sites that turned out to be a diamond in the rough, but as a princess once said, you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find one that's really a prince. I don't have time to do all the looking trying to find $300 quality service for $150, and in the process encounter a few B & S, scams, robs, etc. It wastes money in the long run IMO. However, kudos to those hobbyists that have the time and patience to turn over every rock to see what's under it.

CDL has it right. If I wanted to play cop tag or get robbed I'd be all about backpage or whatever. Someone who's decently reviewed here is going to be much more solid than elsewhere.
There are several FBSM gems who advertise on the massage section of BP. Some advertise daily, some weekly, some monthly, and others even less often.
I'll only see a lady if she's well reviewed on TER, or recommended to me by another gentleman or provider. I'm not willing to take the risk with an unreviewed lady.
For me, it really doesn't matter where a lady advertises or if she even advertises. If she's worth seeing, I'll eventually find out about her through reviews or recommendations.

I think it eliminates the risk of an LE sting because they usually advertise FS. Massage is not an illegal activity. Likewise, the other risks for B&S, robs, etc., are less for massage services.

Likely not. They require too much verification in order to make an account, and most are using their real names and pictures. Even if you don't care about all of the above, you're likely friends with people who might care an awful lot that you've added ~500 escorts to your friends list (read: your wife/boss/girlfriend/etc).
Facebook, being based in the US, has to provide user info to any LE that asks for it, which probably includes stuff like location data and ip addresses.
