summed up why 90% of the married guys are here.  LOL

The thread below by vjlovesbj got me thinking;

If a man is Seriously Upset by being dragged around by his dick, and spending a lot of money on hookers,
would this man happily invest in a Pill to get rid of his sexual desire, to Save Money and
in the process,
find other things to do to make himself equally as happy as sex with hookers?

joke, right?  You are making some erroneous assumptions, i.e., 1) men want to save money rather than spend it on having fun, and 2) something else will make them as happy as sex with hookers.  Since your parameters are not realistic, the answer to your question can only be a resounding, "NO."

...in thinking that only men are affected by a super high libido.

I've been led around by my little lopaw my whole adult life. I have a super high sex drive and sometimes I wish that I could calm it down a little. I even mentioned it to my doctor during my last physical and she said that there was medication out there but it was pretty drastic and it had a lot of side effects, so fuggedaboudit.

So until my desires calm down (hello menopause?) I will just have to continue to monger and fulfill that yearning the only way I know how. ;)

just an interesting thought.

She Never mentioned anyone else but "men"

Many think salt Peter is one. It isn't.
I don't think you'll find many guys (and lopaw) that frequent a hooker board that would make that swap. Maybe the Puritans have a chat room.

If you're unhappy with things you're doing in your life, and have faith in God, turn to him and he will show you the light!

“I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
(John 8:12)

Don't read what I say!

Obviously, by the likes, thee are others who agree with me.

You'll have a coronary.  You can thump that Bible all you want on the other board.  If you do it here you'll hear from me.  Now stop whining.

The OP discusses having to take a pill if you're unhappy with hiring hookers, and trying to stop.

I'm a provider who is a Christian, so my advice is to turn to God, if you seek advice on how to deal with issues in your life.  I realize it's not for everyone, but my faith has certainly gotten me through the dark times in my life.

It is my belief that God is loving and understanding of our needs and desires. Jesus Christ died on the cross, so our sins would be forgiven. He may not approve of what all I do in life, but I believe with all my heart...that as long as I never forsake him, God will always stand by me!

I posted my thoughts, because it's what I believe to be the correct reply to the OP question.  I don't expect everyone to agree with me, but...there is something called 'Freedom of Speech.' ;)

It asked a simple question: would a man take a pill or not

"Someone" was off topic IMO.

The issue addressed is psychological -- desire/temptation.  I happen to be an atheist, but there is no doubt people have found ways to live happier lives using religion (I believe it is an illusion, but so is GFE.)  So I would say a spiritual answer is within the bounds of the original topic (desire/temptation) even if I personally don't subscribe to the notion of a supreme being.

For understanding my message, and for your kind reply!

FYI, some of my best friends are atheists, and the most important things we have in common...are love and understanding for ALL mankind, and...we never judge one another's actions or beliefs.

I judge quite harshly.  That's precisely why as an atheist I am tolerant of gentle people and intolerant of violent people.  Stalin and Mao were atheists and killed millions.  I think Christianity has evolved to a rather benevolent state, whereas Islam is still vicious, and apparently getting worse.  So yeah, I judge.

A little older, I prefer to walk in the darkness.

If the person doesn't believe in God, they probably don't believe in your hell either. So how does a non-believer go to a place that only the believer believes in? Are you Mormon?

I think it's only fair the "other side" gets equal airtime.

Speaking strictly for myself, I don't need an invisible man in the sky "showing me the light" where it comes to important life decisions and the entire concept seems kind of stupid to me. and don't forget when the night is at it's darkest, flip on the fucking light switch, the is the 21st century, haven't you heard of something called a light bulb?

and lastly, why would any man be tired of fucking? If there really were a God he made the very survival of the species dependent on us having a healthy sex drive, just like every other species can only survive be reproducing and having the genes of the more fit members of the species passed down at a higher rate than those of the weaker members. Why  would you want to fuck with what your God created?

...has been through the use of opiates, which suppresses the libido and at the same time unleashes enough dopamine (initially) to divert focus and interest. Personally, I'd rather end up trying to kick the habit of having too much sex or of being mentally consumed with it than trying to kick smack.

I'm all for that. But that would destroy her Sexual Desire. A woman would have no need to have Sex if there was no monetary incentive or some sort of benefit for them.

es.
There are already millions of women who have No Sexual Desire.
That is why this business exists.
