but I don't know about "very, VERY SEXY"

How about "pretty damn good"???

listen to the album !!!!! ... great concept song tho ...
dude should post on the board ... lol

You only have 3 choices and none fit in my opinion. I didn't find it creepy, and I didn't find it sexy at all, let alone "very very" sexy. I didn't think it totally sucked, but ok would mean I liked it at least a little. Nope, just completely indifferent to it, hence "meh."

I think this was the soundtrack to every one.

"vintage" to you?  How old are you?  Does your mom know you're on this board?  Lol

For me, "vintage" is 8mm or 16mm film.

That's pretty vintage, regardless of the format. But yeah, VHS is vintage as fuck.

I read the lyrics several times and thought I figured the song out? Guy loses lover and wants to be with her even if she is dead. So he digs up the body to be with her.

But the below lyrics are damning when he opens up the coffin:

I don't believe it's there
What's its name?
When did it walk the earth?

And then he takes a liking to it:

“Her lips are painted red
And it looks like she's been fed
There's a smile upon her face”

Which the second verse initially threw me off at first listen. I thought it was about a vampire, sleeping in a coffin after a night’s feeding. (So if it was supernatural and macabre, it makes it sexy, I suppose). But that’s not the case, as the "fed" part probably alludes to her being still fresh from the embalming. Also the makeup is all in place (red lipstick), the face is adjusted with lips curled up in a smile by the mortician; she looks beautiful in his eyes and his perversion.

Other lyrics didn’t make sense at first (when I was thinking of the past lover scenario), but now makes sense to his chosen crime when he states, “Women are afraid to touch me/ Children close their eyes and run.” Most likely, he is physically deformed, repulsive and disgusting. But he has a job as a grave digger and knows the lay of the cemetery (no pun intended).  He may also dig up same grave more than once when he says, "Open Up I have to touch her once again / As cold as she may be.” It is his turf, and he has free reign and control, "Oh, can't you see/I really have to set her free/She belongs to me.

Funny, in an ironic way, how he repeats a saying in the last couple verses that he, “brought life to the dead, “which is true, he brought his living breathing pulse to a dead corpse. However, when he states in his fantasy (or psychosis) that he swears that the corpse talks back to him and tells him to “go slowly,” it’s perhaps the only thing that makes him feel alive and loved. He wants it to last and last. Other than that, with his job duties and shunned status, he is alone and dead inside. Creepy for sure, and another reviewer summed it up as, as “…a tender love song on a repulsive subject.”

So creepiness is definitely there in the lyrics, but not creepy in the music. It lacks variation in tone and loudness, voice inflection and drama. Most likely the why behind the other lackluster responses.

Gravedigger lyrics:

Open up
I really want to take a look
I don't believe it's there
What's its name?
When did it walk the earth?

Hands are neatly folded together
It looks like it's a comfortable place
Her lips are painted red
And it looks like she's been fed
There's a smile upon her face

Oh, can't you see
I really have to set her free
She belongs to me
Oh, I don't care

Cause I don't care if she is there
Dead or alive

Women are afraid to touch me
Children close their eyes and run
There's one thing left to do
Girl, I have to be with you
And pretend that we are havin' fun

Yeah, yeah

Open Up I have to touch her once again
As cold as she may be
No, I don't mind
I never tried to hide the love I'm feelin'
Deep inside
Deep inside of me

Ohh ohhhh no, no, no
Open up

Her glassy eyes get warmer and warmer
She reaches out
I swear this is so
I brought life to the dead
What more can be said?
When she smiled at me she said, "Go slowly."

Oh, open up, Oh
I brought life to the dead
What more can be said
She smiled at me she said, "Go slow."

Now, now
I brought life to the dead
Oh. Oh oh oh, open up
Yeah

The lyrics, for me, touch both perverse and romantic. What great lyrics on a topic that's difficult to even talk about because it's hard to even conceptualize ...

necrophilia is a victimless crime, does it matter whether its BB or covered.  BB is a choice to be made between one consenting adult.

With lips closed and eyes sealed
 You're sculpture with a pulse
I wanna capture your essence and keep it here forever little one
And I feel good about you not telling anyone

 You'll just lie
 Motionless
 Emotionless
 You're beautiful asleep
 Motionless
 Emotionless
 You're beautiful asleep

You'll feel nothing as I send your soul away
 How long will you last
And how long will you stay
As guilty as I feel, I'm making you beautiful forever
Until you rot away to nothing
 We'll be perfect here together
I feel good about you not telling
 I feel good about you

 You'll just lie
 Motionless
 Emotionless
 You're beautiful asleep
 Motionless
 Emotionless
 You're beautiful asleep

 Cause you're falling apart
 Cause you're falling apart
 At your seams

 You are falling apart
 You are falling apart

 You'll just lie
 Motionless
 Emotionless
 You're beautiful asleep
 You'll just lie
 Motionless
 Emotionless
 You're beautiful asleep
 You'll just lie
 Motionless
 Emotionless
 You're beautiful asleep
 You'll just lie
 Motionless
 Emotionless
 Disgusting now I see

You're falling apart at your seams

Creepier than shit but an awesome song.

If you want creepy necrophilia, here's a classic
