Just curious what everyone thinks about this. My thought is wait until about 30 days out to avoid craziness. I would obviously like to say goodbye to people. No this isn't happening immediately. For now it's just a question.
Keep seeing a few regulars for side money, we all need side money, then just disappear.
Don't make a big announcement, reason being, if you have to come back for any reason, you reappear. No one thinks you were ever gone.

i know a lady who went utr, taking down all her ads & website, but still seeing her regulars. after a while, she winnowed down her lisy of clients to only a few, and then pnly a couple. she plans to move to another city and start a new career no longer seeing clients.
but the beauty of her approach is, if she wanted to, she could ease back into the swing of things.
i'd suggest that approach.
Simplement disparaitre
If you have peeps you want to say goodbye to then do it during a final session with them. Other than that just shut down your phone number and advertising and ride off into the sunset. Nobody is going to give you a plaque or a watch when you retire from this biz.

Ridiculous blanket statement. Anyone who thinks retiring escort always come back to the business or go UTR doesn't know anything about the hobby. They don't always.
Dear Ms. Keevy:
I am thinking is that you are gradually making a transition as we speak. With that said, when you reach your financial goals consistently then you can pull out publicly and only see tried and true regulars. Do that for a while so you don't cut off all ties to the community just in case you have to come back. Then once you know you are secure with where you are going economically then shut down shop. Granted you have been in the game 14 years so you knew this was coming and maybe you can go out for coffee with the guy at your place of worship that you were talking about.
And no I'm not coming back.

it's best to just fade away. I've seen many providers claim retirement only to come back next week, month, year, day, etc. I would say maybe announce a week or two ahead of time so that some clients who have never seen you to get a visit.
