With the NC State Fair going on right now, what memories do you have from fairs: ferris wheel escapade, tea cup handy, horror house humping etc?

And no, we're not talking about your adventures in the livestock pavilion!

My last time at a fair I was about 10 years old, and the crush of people cured me from ever wanting to go back to another.  So I have no hobby-related fair memories of my own - have to live vicariously through you folks.  And who knows, one of you might inspire a change of heart and drive me back to the fair with companion in tow!
