Now here's a photo of the same actress as she looks today...

It's a lesson for providers as well.  If a guy shows up to a provider's place and expects to see the woman in the website who only has "Aldo" photos, he may think it's a bait & switch if she looks like the "before" as in the case of this actress.  That's why it's a good idea to have some candid photos as well as professional photo shoot images.

...Mireille Enos from a few years ago in "The Killing."  (I'll post another photo of her in a reply to this post)

THAT, my friend is why I don't like to show up at an appointment without hair and makeup done!!  Especially at 41 in a few short hours!!

Yes if you have professional pics on your website it's good to have some selfies also!

There's a provider here in Oz who charges considerably more than me per hour who has lovely pics on her website - quite intimidating beautifulness, then I met her and I actually didn't recognise her as the same girl. The hair and eyes were the same, but she was a good 14lbs heavier in person with different skin tone and everything. I was quite shocked so I imagine someone paying $800 an hour would have been too.
It doesn't do you any favours for repeat business if you've misrepresented yourself on your website.

Candids or selfies are good but they are not really needed.
If someone is doing a photoshoot just request no photoshopping or editing, it's done all the time I use to think the photographer has to photoshop but I was wrong.

Some ladies don't like the look of having cellphone pictures on a professional well put together website.I guess it takes away from the "look".

One thing that's for sure everyone must advertise what they truly look like, it's the right thing to do and it doesn't do you any good if you don't because people will not return. Even selfies can be photoshopped using a phone app which is why reviews are helpful too. You can see people saying "ok  pictures are accurate"

Now many ladies are doing videos or motion images which are even better.

I'm not sure if anyone would want to see their candids. No disrespect, are TS/TG providers "themselves" minus the makeup and etc?

And speaking of "Aldo" photos, I believe some of our lady friends are still running their "Matthew Brady" photos.

A more important lesson that I would take from the photo is that NOBODY looks like a model on the cover of Cosmo, not even the women that are in those magazines.  If you were to see some of these models in real life which I have, you wouldn't even recognize them.  It's called photoshop, sales and marketing.  Of course, they aren't going to look perfect.  I think guys need to have more realistic standards when it comes to the escorts and women in general.  Not to offend anyone, but if she looked super smokin', do you think she'd be working as an escort.  Most of the chicks that I know that are super hot have super rich boyfriends/husbands or come from super rich families where they can afford all the cosmetic surgery and primping in the world.  Just sayin'

Yes, I agree with what someone said. It's hard to discuss authenticity, while comparing the facial appearance of providers to beauty standards held in our society when few people rarely wake up the way they do in magazine pictures, on red carpets, etc. What we've been taught to view and believe as beautiful are oftentimes highly-orchestrated efforts that underwent many stages and people, from creative directors to makeup artists to photo editors to publishers.

Ladies wear makeup for a variety of reasons. All women are beautiful, and the ones who wear makeup use it to accentuate what is already present. For those who don't, that's amazing as well. Either way, women are autonomous beings who decide which routes to take in their visualness. I don't think it's fair to judge one or the other.

I understand the fear of providers looking different in person than in pictures. I wonder how often that happens.

Make up help

Also:  hairspray, nail polish and certain lipsticks can be off-putting to a chemically-sensitive hobbyist. Ladies should select natural stuff without detectable odors. And fragranced products deposit long-lasting residues on a hobbyist's clothing that might become clues for the S.O.

But I just wanted to share my thoughts.

As much as I love being a woman...being a man would be much simpler, when it comes to how I physically appear to the world.

When a man's face has wrinkles...His face has character.
When a man is old/mature...He's distinguished.
When a man is fat...He's cuddly.
When a man's hair turns grey...He's debonair.
When a man wakes up in the morning...He looks exactly like he did, when he went to sleep.

And one of the best things about a man...When I kiss him, he doesn't smear lipstick all over my face. :D

Men, you're blessed with natural beauty, and...I Adore You! ;)

I couldn't imagine going through life having a vagina to maintain.

You mentioned when a man's hair turns grey. What about when his hair turns loose?

But when a man has no money, he's screwed.

LOL

Especially when I'm webcam modeling.  OOOh well, I guess it cums with the job. :D

With  no make up face looks young as it s 20 old ' and
make up makes women look older.

Even young women  look way older  and with no make make  with natural lips, natural skin and eyes .. pretty woman looks 1000 times better

As up to me - make up is hiding true woman beauty

It is for me the same as if woman have heavy breasts those make women look as on 10 years more -- of course those who was born big breasted - these do not have  choice  yet I still can t get women who of boob job..
So much money for  what ? for looking as you are aged on 10 years

Take your bra  off, was your face  put sexy floral dress ( oh I will soon be taking pics on my new dresses )  with no bra - how you then like yourself?

That's what Russia does to mask its aggresive expansion. Am I on the right track here?

I'm probably in the minority but I've always preferred little to no makeup on a lady.  Sexy is primarily in the head but a little in the body as well.

That's my opinion of course.  I think she looks pretty with it too.  But I am more of a personality gal. I have met people who are really easy to look at and I honestly wanted nothing to do with them. There's one popular provider who is so grossly full of shit that I would honestly rather never even speak with her. But,  I do know a few very cool and kind hearted ladies around the country that I don't even care what they look like. I just love being with them and love playing with them.  Men are from Mars....

and some of us do come to the same conclusion as you have expressed.

Now, if only if we could come down to Earth every once in a while.  8o

... IMO.  I prefer a clean, natural look. I don't choose to see a provider because she has a "perfect" face.
