So I was at the little gym in my hotel and decided to weigh myself and check my body fat % on the scale.  It was 14%.  I'm actually quite pleased with that having had struggles with weight all of my life.  This is relevant to the hobby because I have had such a transformation in my body image as a direct result of always being naked in front of strangers. I'll be 41 soon and I have FINALLY come to a point where I ignore my flaws and just roll with it!  YAY!  Has anyone else, providers or hobbyists learned to be at peace with their bodies while in the hobby?   I know this may be a touchy subject but I'm just curious.

If a provider doesn't love her body no one will!Everyone in this hobby has to learn to embrace that nakedness lol

Now if you are talking about flaws I can't do anything about, that's one thing. I came to terms with the fact that GQ and Playgirl were never going to come knocking at my door many years ago, but if you are talking about accepting becoming a fat ass? Never.  

The older I get the harder I have to work to be able to legitimately date women 20-30 years younger than me, or even to be able to go out in public with a paid date without it being obvious she is a paid date. So if you are asking if I am going to simply accept the little roll of fat that starts to creep in whenever I skip too many days at the gym? No, I am not going to ignore those flaws when I know I can do something about them.  I have no intention of simply letting myself go.

For women, 10-13% is considered "essential fat".  And 14-20% is the "athletes" range. So 14% for a 40 year old woman is "mahvelous, darling!" as Billy Crystal might say.  Or in other words, "you go, girl!"  :)

I think I'm "at peace" with my body in that I don't obsess about it. It is what it is. But I do take care of it. After many years of daily workouts, taking care of my body is just another part of my daily routine... just something I do, which I enjoy doing.  That routine lets me maintain a body that lets me do anything I want to do.  (Ok, not run a marathon but I don't WANT to do that!)  Sure there's flaws and I know some women prefer a different body type than mine (I'm pretty lean, about 10% fat--most of that is in my head LOL), but I've never had a provider or other woman throw up or make a "yuk" face when they see my naked body, so I don't worry about it.

Thanks babe!  At 40 I notice I have to baby my knees, I'm not trying to tear that damn ACL like a lot of avid exercisers do and my knees are already starting to warn me.  Good knees are also kind of pertinent for other things too!  LMAO

issues about getting older, only looking like it.  2 hours lifting weights at the gym four days a week, then I hobby the other three days for my cardio.  (I like cardio days the best!)   I'm not perfect, although not bad for a man my age, but I don't have any confidence issues doing naked FaceTime with my regulars, who are 20-25 years younger than me.

Yes hobby cardio engages the quads and glutes doesn't it!!!!  MMMM HHHMMMM!!!

Since being in this hobby I've had nothing but appreciation for my bodily parts including my little round booty, so yes I think I'm way more body confident and accepting than many of my civvie friends.
