END OF MESSAGE

it is honest work.

Oh you mean outside of this?

I pursue interest which stimulate me intellectually and creatively and brings in an income,,, Yes...

This is a temporary lifestyle to pay for education and it is supplemental income for some. It's not real income. Making big bucks is great but there's more to a person. To be knowledgable , educated and intelligent that can command respect on intellectual levels not just by the dollars earned. Everyone can make money but how ? Either way, it is to be recognized as temporary to reach goals and dreams. And to enjoy the adventure and ride during is a plus. Afterall, it is the best job to travel the world to see wide and far.

I love how she puts this. This is something that happens to help with our goals and something exciting to do. As long as I am young and pretty, IMO, this has been the best temp job ever.

Being a TER Post Ho, but they don't pay me...damnit! ;) lol

Besides that, I'm an escort and webcam model.

Over my life I've worked as a legal clerk, dental nurse, bar wench, pole dancer, cafe owner, cook on a cattle station, mum, wife, student, counsellor and Psychologist - this is my favourite real job. It has excitement, travel, amazing people, weirdness, risk, thrill, unpredictability, flexibility, good rates of pay, no boss, and fun :)

Not sure if it qualifies as a job per se?  I'm using the money I'm making to restore a 101 year old historical home to then "raffle" off, raising money for a friend's renal transplant therapy, and rolling the rest into similar real estate ventures in other states under varying corporate structures before I ex-pat to South America in a few years.

Job/investment portfolio/strategy?

Whatever you do, try and avoid this shit-storm:  https://www.irs.gov/Businesses/Corporations/Foreign-Account-Tax-Compliance-Act-FATCA

When are you coming in to get that fine ass of your paddled?

I am a multi-tasker, obviously. :)

with some providers it seems like "work" and with others it doesn't.

which is why there is just a title of the thread and nothing else
here is what the post was supposed to contain

i had a few "gentlemen" last week, who asked me if i have a real job

this is a real job, as it requires time, preparation, energy, creativity (especially if bdsm or kink session)

bbfs4ever will have different opinion on this one for sure

That has happened to me in the past on occasion but not every time. Perfectstorm or someone else here will have that info. lol

I guess it comes down to how you define "real."

If "real" is partly defined as "legal" then no, its not a real job.

But if "real" means there is marketing, advertising, customer service, payment, costs, expenses, travel, etc then yes of course it is a real job, just part of the underground economy.

At the end of the day, who cares? You provide a much needed service for many which results in happiness, relaxation and frustration relief. You enable regular dudes like me to have sex with gorgeous women like you.

Don't worry about "society's" approval of your gig. "Society" is seeing escorts too, just not telling anybody they do so. lol

Anything in your subject line that is in quotes will disappear when editing your post, but it should not affect anything that you have written other than in your subject line. What happened to her post? Who knows, screwy things happen on the internet from time to time.

Maybe by "real" they mean an "underpaid, soul sucking, 9-5 job" like most other people have.

I haven't had a "real" job in decades, nor am I even capable of so much as considering working for someone at this stage in my life. Does that mean I don't work? Of course not, and so do the hookers like Octavia and count me in as one of guys who are VERY happy that she and other ladies here have chosen this occupation.

Ok, enough sucking up, I have to go puke now. lol

you are right
i guess i need to train my brain not to give a f... what society thinks

thank you my dear

I do it professionally and I make money from it. Which makes it a job.

Also, having this as my only job is just as valid and real as ladies who have this as well as vanilla jobs.

Internalized whoreaphobia sucks...

(I also cam on the side, lmao)

I work a lot: marketing, updating my website & calendar,  posting ads, vetting guys, checking references, plus the time spent with clients. It's a full time job, not just a few hours a week on a date.

Having at least a shell or a  fake self employment job. So you can shift income into it for tax purposes. And keep the IRS at bay.
