Your haughty assumption of superior intellect is shared by the presidential candidate from your home state.  Sadly, it will be the downfall of both.

Since I had included the "lol" at the bottom of the post, I mistakenly assumed that one of your (self) esteemed intellect would have presumed the article was intended to be humorous, especially when the link to Scrappleface was included.  Apparently, it seems that I over judged you.

Actually, I usually like your posts, you do seem to straddle the fence somewhat though.  You tend to be the consummate centrist, a voice of reason and compromise.

Whatever, you know what they say happens when you assume!

"I actually did vote for his $87 billion, before I voted against it."

(For ststud, Harry & OnetoomanyhitsofacidHippy, that means "laughing my ass off!").

I tend to stay out of these discussions yet the ignorance goes on without my help.

The thing that they always fail to mention are the additional items that are attached to these agendas. Piggybacking in a special interest item can and often does, ruin a completely good piece of legislation.

And speaking of flip flops. These are borrowed from an obviously anti Bush site.

Bush's flip flops

So Bush has a site somewhere that tracks Kerry's "flip-flops". Reader TK probably spent three seconds coming up with this list of Bush flip flops. It's not like they're hard to find:

 # Bush is against campaign finance reform; then he's for it.
 # Bush is against a Homeland Security Department; then he's for it.
 # Bush is against a 9/11 commission; then he's for it.
 # Bush is against an Iraq WMD investigation; then he's for it.
 # Bush is against nation building; then he's for it.
 # Bush is against deficits; then he's for them.
 # Bush is for free trade; then he's for tariffs on steel; then he's against them again.
 # Bush is against the U.S. taking a role in the Israeli Palestinian conflict; then he pushes for a "road map" and a Palestinian State.
 # Bush is for states right to decide on gay marriage, then he is for changing the constitution.
 # Bush first says he'll provide money for first responders (fire, police, emergency), then he doesn't.
 # Bush first says that 'help is on the way' to the military ... then he cuts benefits
 # Bush-"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. Bush-"I don't know where he is. I have no idea and I really don't care.
 # Bush claims to be in favor of the environment and then secretly starts drilling on Padre Island.
 # Bush talks about helping education and increases mandates while cutting funding.
 # Bush first says the U.S. won't negotiate with North Korea. Now he will
 # Bush goes to Bob Jones University. Then say's he shouldn't have.
 # Bush said he would demand a U.N. Security Council vote on whether to sanction military action against Iraq. Later Bush announced he would not call for a vote
 # Bush said the "mission accomplished" banner was put up by the sailors.  Bush later admits it was his advance team.
 # Bush was for fingerprinting and photographing Mexicans who enter the US. Bush after meeting with Pres. Fox, he's against it.

You guys want to add to the list?

Bush was against sticking his head up his ass.  Now that it's up there, he's all for it.

Here are some more, although some would call these outright lies, rather than flip-flops:

As in: My domestic programs will create 2.6 million jobs this year,    Whoops, just kidding, I meant maybe 100,000!

Capturing Osama Bin Laden is my highest priority,    Whoops, just kidding, I really don't care if we get him!

We're going into Iraq because they have an Imminent Nuclear (although he said Nookular) threat,    Whoops, just kidding, and sorry 'bout that, you 570 dead brave Americans, and 3200 badly wounded brave Americans !

The Medicare Bill will cost $395 Billion,  Whoops, I meant $551 billion and I actually lied to my own party about it!

I'm a Uniter, not a Divider.    Whoops, just kidding!

I could go on, but you get the idea

and for you idiots that dont know ..EOM....on the end of a subject line means end of message..ummmmmm low IQ.....if you lined all the presidents up according to IQ , gwb,jr would be at the end of the dipshit line next to papa

Flip flopping in the same sentence, a new low or just schizophrenia?

Poop, he said "I actually voted for it" (meaning that he voted for it, I presume) "before I voted against it"  (meaning he voted against it, I presume) on one vote, not two.  That is either an insult to the intelligence of his base (which seemed to have worked) or a really confused human mind if not someone who just doesn't know what the fuck he means.  I vote it a tie!

Mr. Kerry?   America answers in November, No!

And it is a big "IF", that he can keep from completely self-destructing in buffoonery  before the Dem convention.  Face it, you guys handed the election to Bush!

I was wearing my bright orange platform flippies in the snow in NYC? Lol.

Cut out the politics.  Kazooks, I have an idea!! Go out and do some major hobbying this weekend and stimulate the economies of a few ladies.  Happy hobbying.

I received a wonderful calendar for Christmas called "Bushisms" It gives a new screw-up that came from him in some speech or other. There is one for every day of the year. I f they are the results of poor speech writing, then he should fire them all. If not, well...

I see you Laughed Your Ass Off.  Thanks,  I understood it before.  You might have missed that I wasn't sure that you understood that what you were reading was satire.  I guess ITYASOPD.  (I Think You Are Stupid Or Pretty Dumb).  But, I could be wrong.

A suggestion:   If you put a screw up your ass with a good bolt, you will be able to keep it on when you laugh.   That way you would be able to retain your ass during these political posts.
