When you buy upscale yout tend to buy a look and exclusivity. The gals at Julies get a lot of rave reviews. I personally have never been there so I can't vouch for them but others will, read their reviews.
A place like Mona Lisa which is solid, doesn't bait and switch, doesn't tend to have a lot of reviews of their girls but if you put out a request for PM responses, you might get some help. I just call the staff at MLM, tell them what I want, they give me a couple of choices and off we go. I have never had a problem. You can look at my reviews if you want but I have only seen 3 or 4 of them.
Again, look at what's out there. If you go indy or agency, make sure you pick someone with good solid reviews. That's what gives you the best chance for not getting ripped off. It's also what you bought the membership for.

If you could spend up to $1k/hr in the NY area, who would you spend it on? I'm totally new to this, and if I were to take the plunge, I'd be willing to pay up for the best (which hopefully could be much less than $1k). I would be looking for a GFE, and DFK is essential; not really interested in a PSE (maybe I should be). I've used the search feature to find top rated providers, but I'd like some input from those in the NY area as to which ones are your favorites, with money almost no object. I'm interested in all responses, but my own personal preference would be for a woman who's 5'2" to 5'6", 105 - 120 lbs. Thank you.

Depends on what you're looking for. $1k per hour is a prime rate but in NYC you'll only be getting what $300 per hour will get you in most other cities. The 2nd post is probably the best choice if you're just after loads of sex.
One word of advice. This biz is full of chicks and agencies who are only after your cash. Most girls will feel they are entitled to as much as they can get and they will gladly take your $1k even though she's meeting someone later for $300.
Go for what you want but remember that how much she's worth is all in your mind.

is it because of [cough] medical reasons? if so, they're almost infinitely more likely to be HIV/STD-free compared to your average GFE. now, before any providers here get all upset at me, let me ask you girls this: do any of you have monthly PCR/RNA tests done? if no, then i rest my case (not that you're "unclean" mind you, just that you're perhaps less "safe" than pornstars who test monthly or more frequently)

For $1K, I recommend Lauren of Miami Companions. She is actually $500 per hour, but has a two hour minimum. She is a great kisser (DFK, of course) and defines GFE. It's been quite awhile since I have posted here, and I thought...what the heck. Manta... decide what type of lady you like, what type of service you would enjoy and whether you are looking for exclusivity or not. I am not putting down Massage Parlours or high volume incall places, but I know that most clients of higher end ladies would not appreciate knowing they are getting sloppy seconds, thirds or fourths ( you get my drift) all within an hour. It is all a matter of choice, but don't let some people on this board tell you who you should see and what you should spend. Your comments are appreciated. In response to some of the questions, I am looking more for quality than quantity. I'd rather have someone who provides a terrific GFE--friendly, affectionate, great attitude, great kisser, seems to really enjoy the whole experience (especially, but not exclusively, the sex)--than someone who is only about lots of sex. And I don't know exactly what you mean by "exclusivity", but I certainly would prefer, and would pay for, someone who has low volume rather than high.
Maybe it goes without saying that I'd also want someone who's gorgeous. But I'm not interested in paying up for beauty if the price is a bad attitude. And I'm not out to spend a specific amount--if I can get what I want for less rather than more, I'm all for it. I mentioned my physical preferences in the first post, but one I forgot to include is that I prefer natural breasts. And I want beautiful eyes ... and long, sexy legs ... and nice brown skin ... and sensuous curves ... and I love the exotic look .... Maybe I ask for too much.
