Ok, so let me start by saying Im a clutz. I just am. I was born without the "graceful" gene 
So, I had a date set with one of my favorite people. I dont get to see him very often, so I wanted to surprise him this
time. I put on my beautiful long black dress and decided I would wear my Stilleto Heels. I mean, what could
go wrong? Right? I only have to walk across the room and then they will be coming off anyway.
Besides, Ive worn these heels before and Ive gotten pretty good at staying upright on them So, in he comes, turns
to lock the door behind him. Meanwhile, Im slowly, seductively (I like to think so anyway lol) walking towards him. The
whole time, my mind is thinking one foot at a time. I got this! Left foot, right foot.
I make it almost all the way to him, when it all went terribly wrong.
Im not sure exactly what happened because its all a blur now. I just know I stumbled to the right, then the left
and my mind is screaming DONT FALL, DONT FALL This is gonna HURRRRRR *BOOM*! Right on the floor on my butt.
Of course Im humiliated. Im embarrassed. Is it possible to crawl under the couch now? I cant POSSIBLY look up at
my sweet, wonderful friend now.
Suddenly, I start hearing this kinda wheezy sound. Its coming from the direction where I last saw my friend standing.
Ok, I gotta look at him now. Did I mention this guy is TALL? Like 6'4 or so. This explains WHY I decided to wear the stilletoes folks
So, I slowly turn my head in his direction. And I SLOOOWLY start looking upwards. I reach his waist, and notice he seems to be
shaking. Like, these weird spasms.
Oh GREAT! Im sitting here, legs splayed out (VERY unladylike) Beautiful dress hiked up to my waist, left shoe
(Which I now call the "GOOD" shoe) still on my foot, right shoe (EVIL, BAD shoe) sitting close by looking all
innocent and suff and to top it ALL off, I've killed my client. I dont know, heartattack? Stroke? Who knows?
Hes still making these wheezy noises. Sooooo, I finally get the courage to look all the way up. Hes standing there,
hand covering his mouth, tears running down his face LAUGHING.
At this point, he opens his eyes, looks at my face and DOUBLES OVER with laughter. Well, if you cant beat 'em join 'em I always say.
So, I start laughing too. I mean, if you cant laugh at yourself, ya know?
So, he finally composes himself enough to come over, take my GOOD shoe off my foot and help me up off the floor.
Once we establish Im ok and unhurt (just a little bruise on my butt) this wonderful, sweet man places his hands gently
on either side of my face, looks deeply into my eyes and softly says
"I cant WAIT to see how you surprise me NEXT time!!"
Needless to say, the date turned out to be one of the best Ive had
in a loooong time. Laughter really IS the BEST medicine!!

Thats awesome! I wouldve had the same reaction I think. Laughter is great when its genuine and with friends. You also have had an experience you'll be telling friends about for the rest of your life. Im glad you shared it for us. Keep laughing!

Coffee usually brings a smile to my face, butt before I went downstairs for that, I read your lil adventure and cracked up---I got this visual(while reading)l of you spread out on the floor with that look on your face and could not help myself---glad you were all right, except for that strategically placed bruise that I'm sure your friend kissed away the hurt;P~~

Honestly, its a miracle Ive made it this long without breaking anything important ( And by this I mean on ME lol)!! I tend to mostly just stub toes and stuff. Although, I HAVE fallen off the bed a few times
Well I guess the cause of said fall wouldnt be so bad. Especially if it was sexy time. Id be all about falling of the bed. Especially if it was you in it with me

From the looks of BOTH your pics you were standing in the "damn hot and sexy" line multiple times so I suspect we can all forgive you for missing the "graceful" line.
A bruised tail bone is better than a broken ankle! Hopefully, your date massaged your sore muscle and made it better.
how you carry yourself and share with others is a better indicator of grace to me than how you balance on stilettos. Thanks for sharing a great story, and giving me something to smile about today!
Katy!!! those all tall shoes. I mean you got trouble in bare feet, heck I seen you fall down laying on a bed. lol . Glad you survived.
LOL Yup!! Im just incredibly happy to still be here and have no scars or broken bones (knock on wood lol)
