just addressing your question about how the ladies are treating you.

best of luck going forward, though!

I tend not to think of Wilmington as Eastern NC, simply because on most ad listing sites it gets it's own separate category. Plus I'm in the Craven/Pitt/Carteret area for the most part.

is a treasure wherever you find her... and I'm sorry you've been having bad experiences.

I'm not sure where you're shopping, but many years in the the hobby have shown me that there definitely seems to be a correlation between the professionalism of any given lady, and her experience level. A lot of new girls haven't figured out that good manners pay big dividends.

I'm thinking that this is mostly an eastern nc thing...anyone else find that in this area it's really hard to contact some of the ladies? Or that they have a habit of making plans and not following through? I've had a provider tell me they'd be in X town on X day and then when X day comes be no where near it, arrived at hotels and called to get room number and got no answer, and had a couple that responded to a text or call days after it was sent. This doesn't seem to be an issue anywhere else I travel (and not just large cities) but here it seems really bad. A reliable lady around here is like hitting the jack pot.

Anyone else have these problems here or is it just my bad luck

I only recently began to enjoy local east Carolina entertainment after spending many years in the Baltimore/Washington area.  The main difference I see is in the numbers of relaxation specialists who are available in the two areas.  East Carolina doesn't come out on top in the numbers category, which might explain why some seem to have difficulty keeping up with existing and potential clients. Like in any business, the smart play is generally always to protect the core customer base while you do the best you can to expand it.   In my limited experience here, the Carolinas do very well in providing a more casual, friendly approach to the experience overall.  I think that's due in part to the simple reality of southern grace and friendliness, but it also reflects the fact that most of the providers here are local ladies, with fewer travelers than perhaps other areas have. The few ladies that I've seen or tried to see (with one puzzling exception) have been easy to contact and easy to arrange a meeting with.  None have been the slightest disappointing.  Keep trying.  You'll find the kind of new friends you're looking for.

there definitely was a a breakdown in communication between you two. Reading your post I assume this was a visiting lady who probably did not get much of a response from her visiting ad(s). Not that it's an excuse for her not respond to your calls or text to advise you of the status of your meet. I am a little surprised and concerned about a couple of things.

1. Why no email the day prior to confirm appointment?
2. Hotel info given out days prior to meeting?

Yes, I am new to the industry, but know the professional thing to do in this case is to confirm my appointment(s) the day prior. Furthermore, I would have contacted my appointment prior to arriving to hotel to advise I would not be able to see him. Which brings me to this point of asking why hotel info was given days in advance other than be given the day prior to your meeting her. Would this not be a safety issue for some ladies? I don't know, because I am new to the the business, but would think it would be.

I've been reading the boards a lot since starting and it not only sounds like the new ladies may lack the experience or professionalism that comes with this business, but it also has carried out to some ladies who have been in this business for a while.

IMHO you either got what it takes to be in this business or you don't. I l believe ladies who come into this business with goals  such as buying a home, opening a business, etc, come with the professionalism and the respect it takes to be a successful provider.

Sorry you had this bad experience, but hopefully ladies (old and new) reading your post will learn from this.

Kelis' 2 cents.

I was totally googling you Kelis when I saw your posts.  :-D  I was like "Oh I dont know that name"

I hope you make a trip to our fair state and grace the lives of us Carolina boys on a regular basis so that schedules can have the time to be matched;P~~~  Bad weather will soon be coming and you might want to just move here for the winter months:)) I know that there are gonna be a lot of guys who are glad that you have chosen to make the transition to being a provider, and we/I wish you success.
I luv that commercial where the guy asks--"Did it hurt? You know falling from Heaven;P~~~ Well, did it Miss Earth Angel:))???

Here you go Kelis, another good music choice!

I have the original on my music box by The Penguins:)) Look over to the right and you can listen to that version---THEN go down to listen to the Angelic Voice of Rosie and the Originals sing Angel Baby----when I first heard that voice, I thought I was listening to a lil girl who had been dipped in chocolate when she was born, nope! believe she was dipped in Vanilla---what a voice, and, as Frank sang---"...sweet enough to eat..."
Why, o, why do such visions of loveliness  have to age---bummer:((,,,,,,,,,,,

Total bummer.  But such is the way of life my friend.  I do also enjoy the original by the penguins.  :-)

A bit of free advice, if I were you, I wouldn't make a drive without the hotel info. I'm not sure where you are "down East", but I do know some ladies will travel there to see a gent for an extended date.

I hope your trip to Raleigh works out better for you! ;-)

xoxo,

Steph

I was totally NOT referring to you. I get that you're bi-city.
