Two things
1. It surprises me that in this day and age prostitution is still illegal in so many places.
2. There are so many big problems in the world and what does congress do? Spend time trying to criminalize things like this.
Feminists saying selling sex is perfectly fine (keep your laws off my body, that makes sense) but buying it should be a crime because all prostitution is always violence against women (now you lost me).
Can someone please explain to me how this attitude empowers women? It seems to me like throwing up your arms and saying all or most of us are victims and we'll only be okay if the government helps us. If I've learned anything around these boards it's that many providers are intelligent, capable, ambitious, perhaps even opportunistic, women. That many of them feel more empowered and independent living the provider lifestyle than they ever did in their "mainstream" jobs.
I know human trafficking happens and it's fucking disgusting and tragic, but to me likening all prostitution to trafficking is just bizarre and counterproductive as it enables the traffickers. I feel like I'm missing something.
I don't think I'll ever change sides on this, but I truly want to understand the viewpoint opposite my own. Right now, I don't follow the logic.
Aside from all that, take note: socialists and commies have always attacked prostitution.
See the end of the article about Germany regulating the industry. I've been to Berlin and was very surprised at how open they were about everything, call girls and brothels alike. No fear in discussing services thus no false expectations. This means no fear for a provider upsetting a client because he isn't getting the service he had expected and there's no worry for a client to be disappointed by what they are offered during a session as everything can be discussed and negotiated freely when scheduling the session.

I've read about German mega-brothels in the border towns. Whole hotels, supposedly, with a provider in every room.
I lived there for a year but I went to work in Germany and the U.K. anyway because French men are sleazy dudes who think they're all sex Gods who shouldn't have to pay for anything. I got sick of them being so forward! Even my pest control guy tried to cop a feel in the attic looking for rats!,!!,!,
They make the rest of us look so much better in comparison.
