No offense meant at all but, I believe the major prerequisite would also be age, along with being from the area.. to know that one.
If you were there this Monday through Thursday you'd see many retires in their 60's and 70's ay OD. If you were there this past weekend of this coming weekend you will see a different crowd. There will be children under 10 dancing to beach music, teens, twenty-something's, etc. Beach music is ageless Rhythm and blues, it is a culture, a way of life, sand in my shoes, ad it all started in the Carolinas. The Shag is the official state dance of South Carolina, and the Shag and clogging are the official state dances of North Carolina.
