Starting this past Friday through this coming Sunday in Ocean Drive Beach (OD) is the Fall Migration of the Society of Stranders (SOS) or those who gather to celebrate beach music and dance (shag) to the rhythm and dance that started here in the 1950's. Here's a sample: http://youtu.be/sYzRcSo2Lt
Lord have mercy, I got it and it is a lot of fun. Just a different kind of dance, kind of like the 2 step that John Travolta and Debra Winger did. Very sexy when you are grooving to the music and looking each other in the eyes. Seduction........Or not........Wish I could do it better. My brother tried to teach me in Colorado and he had no patience with me. Yet, his buddy, who were both in the military at the time just whispered in my ear what to do and it was fun when someone shows a bit of patience instead of being a show off, LOL.
