Hi Group!  Just submittd a review, but it was rejected and the reason was "bad website."  Now I have never had a problem entering the address into my browser to get to said site, so am I missing something?  I did email a question to TER, but haven't heard back yet.  Any feedback?  Thanks!

I checked your reviews and did not see any recent ones turned down.  Who was your review of?

same thing just happened to me....I also just submitted the question to TER and resubmitted the review....we'll see what happens...

I too get this from TER and post messages questioning it and they do not respond.  I have sent 3 messages over 6 days and they ignore them.  Finally I got a reply that said to see review policy, they did not answer the question.

I have additional questing in to TER and they ignore those as well.

My biggest question is about unmonitored status.  Why are some people unmonitored and others monitored?  When I post a reply to a question on the board, it takes from 12 to 48 hours for the message to be posted.  Sometimes the post that I am replying to is no longer on the first page of the board, so it's almost like wasting your time posting.

Either everyone should be unmonitored or everyone should be monitored.  It is blatenly unfair the way they handle it now.

My $.02 worth.

I really wish we could unmoderate everyone. The board would move faster and it would be much less work. I wish everyone could behave, but the truth is, not everyone can.

Everyone at TER starts moderated.  This means that someone needs to approve your messages before they go up.  This can take up to 24 hours.  Once the moderator feels comfortable with you, they may un-moderate you.  When you are un-moderated, you can post real time directly to the board.

This has happened to me on 2 occassions that I can recall. The first was because the reviewee had a listing on one of the reciprocal websites, such as City Vibe, and I had to research to correct the link. I didn't find her via City Vibe, I found her on her own website, most unfortunate circumstance. I am now wondering how many reviews are turned down due to reciprocal link agreements.
I didn't write to staff about this one.

The second time was that the reviewee just happened to be changing her site when I submitted the review.
I questioned staff about this and recieved a response quite quickly. Every time they tried the site it was down, every time I tried it a page was missing here or there. So once it was back up, I resubmitted it. And the review was approved.

On the issue of moderation status.

I'm a bad boy! I've been placed on moderated status many times over, but I must be just likable enough to win the affection of Staff, GND, Thirsty, MichaelCA, and Fortitude. All who work their asses off for us to keep the TER boards moving smoothly. We do owe them a big heartfelt thanks for the way they keep our soceity happy.

Here's a hint to those of you that are new and want your posts to get approved immediately. Contribute to the regional board were you are located. Worthwile information will get you unmoderated. Picking fights, replying to posts with 'me too' and being a dumb ass will not get you unmoderated.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

PS.
I like my new alias (too bad for those of you that don't approve of them). I'll probably be posting with this more often than not.
