But frankly, why would you trust a realtor from an ISO here more than a realtor obtained by more traditional means (i.e. referrals from friends/family/co-workers)? Check online reviews and call a couple realtors in your area and get a feel for who you might work well with. How are you going to pay? Cash?Shop around for rates and fees from both banks and mortgage brokers.  

This can all be a time-suck, but being slow and thorough now will save you from so many homeowner headaches down the line.

Hey y'all!  I live in North Carolina and would really love to buy. I've been looking at small vacation homes on a near by lake. I would love to find a realtor that knows the business who is willing to be my realtor (whom I could obviously trust) or to give me some pointers.  It would be easier to not have to be secretive so I can figure out how this can be accomplished.
