Thanks for your post. I think the international police (INTERPOL) should make this a priority in cracking down on the organized crime rings that subject women to this inhumane treatment. Really sickens me that this goes on. This goes on in the US as well with Eastern European, Asian and Latina women being subjected to the same form of abuse.
To all the men on a budget - please don't support the criminals who do this to women - save your pennies or do some research for a provider who provides a good time at a good fair rate.
As for Carrie - I rue the day when I did not invest in Euros when they were .88$ to the US dollar, now the US dollar only gets .88 Euros. The profit on the change in float would have enabled me to enjoy the company of Carrie in pounds sterling. Carrie - Please come back to the US, in particular to the West Coast (city by a certain bay) It's been 80 degrees the past three days!!!
This is a follow-on from the thread below which refers to London walk-ups and is not the first thread I've seen on TER which recommendeds them.
Many of the girls in the London walk-ups and flats have been trafficked from Eastern Europe and are slaves, plain and simple.
I would implore any men visiting London to look to your conscience before visiting a walk-up or a very low priced women in a flat. Often these women are beaten and raped regularly by their pimps, kept in absolute terror, told their families back home will be harmed if they do not comply or try to escape.
The attached article is not the most harrowing that I've read but gives a good picture of what goes on here. If a woman is forced, totally against her will, to 'entertain' 20 men per day (as the article states) isn't that like being raped 20 times per day?
There are affordable options available from independent ladies, just get a What's On magazine or local newspaper and pick one where you can talk to the girl herself.
Please don't encourage this horrific trade or contribute to the abject misery of these girls.

IMHO, one of the strengths of the communication that boards like this provide is the opportunity to professionalize this business. Your observation and advice go a long way in that direction!
I am always uneasy when I see agencies that advertise women from E. Europe. I am sure that some of them are legit and that they are certainly beautiful. But I for one only want the services of a woman who is 'in to it' and wants to be a provider. I have seen an agency in Paris that provides beautiful Russian girls at 300 Euro per hour...legit? I guess I would rather take part in the 'local' culture and learn some French.

Never met Carrie, just saw her pictures. This post of her's pretty much says that she is someone who I would want to see if I got the chance. Great post about a horrific subject, anyone who partakes of the services of a sex slave (definition, a person doing work against their will with NO benefit to them) should be ashamed of their conduct.
Thank you Carrie for sharing this with us. I am planning a trip to the UK in September. I'll avoid this sad situation.

My understanding is that most, if not all, of the ladies working along Berwick, Peter, and nearby are legit and doing so on their own, not from a slaved standpoint. For what it's worth, I've verified this with local cops. I've been told from friends in London that the girls being slaved are generally north of the central area (can't remember name) or in Hackney. I've had lunch a couple of times with a gal who works on Berwick about a block south of Oxford (63b?) who's also verified this info.
In any case, I think it's extremely important for all of us to use some common sense, not support any trafficing, and when appropriate, notify authorities if we believe someone is being trafficed.
From what I have heard a lot of the same things apply.
The AMPs are probably the most suspect. I know some are legit (if one can use that term). For example, there is one where you pay the mamasan your $60 but pay the provider $100 or more. Yes they are cheap, but that money goes to her and, in 2 cases, I got her phone number. Doesn't seem like slavery BUT sort of like a place where women can get the visa and some real cash as well.
Others are clearly corrupt.
