The lady feels she has been put in an untenable and unsafe position by the fellow who posted derogatory comments about her spelling. From what I understand, she posted his e-mailed threats on the national boards. Staff removed the post and placed her on some type of moderation.
If this post is flamed (I expect it to be), then I am at least expecting a response from TER concerning this matter. Make no mistake: I don't like it when a woman is physically threatened by a man. I will NOT support an organization that will idly stand by when this kind of situation occurs. I spend my hard-earned money here. I want to know what TER Staff will do to protect this lady.

None of this should have been allowed in the first place. That is the problem with un-moderating people. Both NetM and trek were un-moderated. They decided to turn the TER message boards into their personal battle ground.
Normally, I do not step in or I allow GND to handle these issues. Unfortunately, by the time I noticed it, it had gone way too far. I moderated both NetM and trek and removed several threads including the one she posted on the general board (inappropriate place).

Staff, I have always found 'most' of netM's posts to be humorous and clever. Every now and then she lets out the monster, but rarely have I noticed. I accept your commitment to making TER town a safe and relaxing place for us to hang out, and appreciate the effort. But what does 'moderated' mean??? Does that mean 'no more' or does that mean she's on probation for a while. I for one will miss her acidic wit and ask for leniency on your behalf. I'm not a shill and have never met her. She does not know me and did not put me up to this. I even PM'd her when I saw the trash (something I don't do too often) and suggested she rise above it and don't soil herself. She responded quickly agreeing and thanking me for the suggestion. I hope that we will continue to have the opportunity to enjoy her cleverness, especially if she promises to share and play nice in the sandbox. Be merciful and FREE NETMICHELLE!!
No, just means that someone needs to check her messages before they post (GND). At such point GND feels confident that NETM can behave, she will unmoderate her.

Makes me wonder if that applies to the Internet, or for that matter to the phone company.
Seems to me that it would be difficult to prove injury in either case.
