Not that it matters, I just think they are nice places and are the only two left in NC

This a true story, things are not as funny when they are happening but they sure are when you look back at them.

There was this photo shoot. A pretty little lady wants to shoot at a bridge…. a covered bridge. And she decides a motorcycle is the best way to do the hour plus drive. After arriving, she puts on this green yellow see thru number and a pair of silky panties in the dressing room, the rest of us call it a covered bridge, and she sees it as a great place to get nekkid. I stand guard.

So the shoot commences and things are going well and we go from one side of the bridge, through it to the other. Then she says, I don’t need these and the panties go sliding down some long tanned legs. I of course, being a gentleman, help them over the 4 inch heels and lay them on a little shelf along with hair bows, mirror, and brush. This is not the good part, I am getting there.

We continue to shoot and it is ummm interesting, you can see thru the dress. Camera has a bit of trouble focusing past the dress, but I sure enough can. But that part comes to an end and we have planned the second part to be in a clearing in the woods that isn’t real hard to get to and a change into something more made for the bedroom seems to be the plan. But she can change in the forest.

She grabs her bag and we head for the woods. We start to set up and we hear car doors nearby Ut oh panties on the shelf. So off I go cause she is still in the see thru number and that may not go over well, well not with everyone. And I find a middle age couple enjoying the same covered bridge. I quickly pick up the myriad of items, including a pair of high heel shoes and bright silky yellow panties and quickly put everything away except for the mirror and brush. Oh they know. They smile and ask about the bridge and make general small talk. He seemed very interested, and not in the bridge, he keeps looking in the direction I approached from. I believe he knew the panties were not mine. I am serious. Really, they wouldn’t fit me. I then notice a second pair of panties still sorta attached to a pair of cutoffs sitting on the seat of the bike. Not sure what he thought but he was sure these werent mine either. So was she. I mean sure that there was a female in the area and she didnt have underwear on.

So bout that time I pick up a blanket and with my camera around my neck I bid them good day and stroll across the bridge back to the young lady. Ever hear cowboy boots on wood? Yeah in all the western movies? Wished I was wearing sneakers they echoed to all get out. I could feel eyes on my back and I heard hush tones behind me. I sure bet he wanted to follow me but I am also sure he was on a short leash.

So I go back and we finish the shoot and I forgot all about them. About an hour goes by and we wrap up. Well she then realizes that she only has the lil nightie or the see through dress and no underwear. But she says no problem she just put the dress back on it will be ok. So we exit the woods and head for the bridge. Utoh the car is still there. What are these people doing? What are they waiting for? Why am I asking you?

Then we spotted them heading for the other end of the bridgefrom across the highway. Timing I say, it’s all in the timing. She says she is an expert at getting changed without undressing. Gentlemen, think on that for a moment. How does one become and expert at that? Me thinks she may have done something like this before?

Well we go back to the bike and she grabs her street clothes and dropped back into her changing room. No doors on a covered bridge. Now I am between miss legs changing clothes and this couple rapidly approaching and their car is on the other side of the bridge. Well um do umm I don’t mmmm "HI folks!" Aint I brilliant? They approached me and started telling me of all the old buildings across the road. Really, I am fascinated. Keep talking folks she isnt the fastest changer.

Soon Miss Legs emerges from the bridge as if this is just another sunny day. “Hi yall” with a big smile. We all chatted and the people entered the bridge heading back to thier car. Yeah, yeah ok only thing I am glad of he wasn’t one of you guys. But then, maybe he is. He sure was a grinning. I just loaded up, she jumped on and we high tailed it for sunnier pastures. Mmmm a pasture and maybe horses……

take up Harley's & Nikon's as well !!!  Keep having fun, Roadie. That's what Hobbywood should be about, right? If it ain't fun ..... don't do it. If it is fun ..... do it often !!

There are only two. Chances are if it is the one I think it might be and I get the right people conversing about the bridge,,, well you know. have fu

hey Krich ol bud. You still kicking?  Hobbywood is fun. The photography is interesting and a bit of work.  It isnt what the guys think it is.  I like to go visit without a camera.  Then it is fun.

Floyd, 2 strikes friend.  All my pics of the bridge has a woman in it and I dont own those pics

progress for sure. Return to Hobbywood is on the horizon!!

Now, thinking about your 'ol post; in the spirit of Meatloaf -- "2 Out of 3 Ain't Bad" !! So, I would happily give up the camera for:
1. The lady in that there yellowish-green see-thru dress
2. The covered bridge in the woods
Yep .... 2 out of 3 ain't bad !!

I found a couple pics I sent her for her location approval.  I cant post any pics with her in them because they belong to her.

I understand the copyright stuff and did not mean to seem to be prying. The other bridge is some what near where I live. I know some of the family that watches over it and have friends that make it a point to "discover" the bridge when they see a vehicle parked. They love to share the history, and watch for vandals

Glad you had fun, but I do understand that working brings the fun down a little. Can't do it, but I understand some of the process of making a good shoot flow. Kind of like winning at chess, can't do that either.

Do you own any stills of the other bridge?

you talking Pisgah?  I got a civy shoot down there coming up.  I love that bridge, it has so many possibilties.

I'm no  fashion photographer, but a talented photog and an adventurous subject could  create quite the "sneaky" backdrop at  Bridal Veil Falls in DuPont State Forest, where the falls hide the folks in the small grotto behind them ( featured hiding place in Last of the Mohicans). Nearby High Falls has a very scenic covered bridge at the top of the falls  with a very pretty and much-photographed wading pool just below the bridge, above the lip of the falls
