A candidate for the Republican National Committee chair sent out a holiday CD to committee members that includes the song "Barack the Magic Negro," a parody first aired on Rush Limbaugh's radio show.
Chip Saltsman, the former campaign manager for Mike Huckabee who's considered a long shot in the crowded field for RNC chair, is a friend of the song's writer, Paul Shanklin, a comedian and frequent Limbaugh guest. The CD, called "We Hate the USA," pokes fun at liberals, their causes, and their slip-ups with titles like "The Star Spanglish Banner," "Love Client #9" and "Wright Place, Wrong Time."
In a voice meant to recall Al Sharpton, Shanklin sings on the "Barack the Magic Negro": "They'll vote for him and not for me, cause he's not from da hood. See, real black men like Snoop Dogg or me or Farrakhan have talked the talk and walked the walk, not come in late and won."
Limbaugh first aired the song, which draws on a column from the Los Angeles Times, on his show in 2007.
Calls and e-mails to Saltsman, a former advisor to Bill Frist, were not returned. In an interview with The Hill, he said the songs, among them "John Edwards, Poverty Tour," "Your Momma's So Fat" and "Duke Lacrosse," were meant simply as satires.
"Paul Shanklin is a longtime friend," Saltman told The Hill, "and I think that RNC members have the good humor and good sense to recognize that his songs for the Rush Limbaugh show are light-hearted political parodies."
To date, no Republican officials have condemned the CD.

I know that that word and others of its ilk (anti semitism,hater,bigot,etc) are all on their deathbeds relative to their effectness in herding the sheep in whichever direction the media masters want them to go. When people are having problems filling their refrigerators then they are less sensitive to this infinite whining on the part of all the minority groups in this country.
Your best weapon was neutralized when the brotha was elected. Most of the majority population (white) will scoff in the face of the claims of the media and race hustlers that America "still has work to do". Actually as conditions worsen, this portion of the population might become convinced that a fundemental change in policy is needed, one that would entail a bunch of deportations, treason trials, and a complete overhaul of what is known today as Western Civilization back into what it was before it was hijacked by arrogant aliens.

While you do acknowledge that the “Magic Negro” phrase first showed up this campaign season in the LA Times, you FAIL to note that it was a DEMOCRAT that used the phrase in a DEMOCRAT newspaper. Of course it’s natural for you to ignore this (or more likely the case, be ignorant of this).
